Currently doing the Starch Solution 50/50 plate method. I've lost 24 lbs since September 2021. It has changed the way I view food completely. It has changed my life in so many ways. I've been a vegetarian for 40+ years and vegan for the last 20 of those. Essentially I was eating a lot of processed veg meat substitutes + healthy veggies. I thought I was doing the right thing for my body by just not being a meat eater. Truly this lifestyle is about getting back to what nature has provided for us. Give it a go! Don't just do it for a day or week. Keep it going! You have so much life to gain in the process!

I’m not eating starch solution right now, but when I have my living conditions improved in a few years maybe, I’ll go all in on this lifestyle. Vegan now, but eating very unhealthy foods and to much processed foods above all. I am really looking forward to living alone and doing this 100%.

Zero oil could be problematic for vegans. I have noticed that several new vegans felt brain fog and began again using animal food. They usually didn't get enough energy when there was no oil in their food. So be careful and know what you eat when you leave the oil from your food! I have been vegan since January 2014 and haven't experienced any brain fog during this time.

Have not given a full go yet on the starch solution yet however, I've been cooking a lot more potatoes lately just to go in gradually
Made a potato cheese sauce and since I wasn't sure how it should taste because nutritional yeast is new for me, I know I'll have to try different ways until I get a taste I will be ok with 😊

Very thorough and much better job than me 👍🏻. Has Chef AJ interviewed you yet? If you’re interested, she asks that you contact her through email on her website and let her know that Lori Neighbor asked her to interview you. I know, from chatting from others from the UK that some items are hard to find, similar to my situation living in Mexico. Hope you have a beautiful day!
