1.5 lb Chicken Thigh Bone In, Skin On
1 Tbl minced Ginger
1 cup rice (red rice or jasmine rice)
20-25 shitake mushrooms
1 1/2 tbl tamari
1 Tbl Rice Vinegar
few drops sesame oil
few dashes fish sauce
1 tsp agave
pinch white pepper
2 pinches Chinese five spice
1 cup bone broth
Minced green onions

First make the marinade- add the tamari, rice vinegar, sesame oil, fish sauce, agave, white pepper, and five spice to a mixing bowl
Add the Chicken, ginger, and mushrooms to the marinade and mix well. Let sit for 20 minutes.
Add one cup rice and one cup bone broth to the Instant pot and add the chicken/mushroom marinade mixture
Set it on High Pressure for 9 minutes, let natural release for 14 minutes
Put chicken and rice in bowl, top with green onions as garnish

Chao Ga Recipe Ingredients:

2 stalks chopped green onions
1 1/2 tbsp chopped ginger
3/4 cup rinsed white jasmine rice
1 pound bone-in chicken breast
salt
6 1/2 cups water
Oil

Saute green onions and ginger in oil on the Browning Fry mode for 3 minutes until fragrant and golden brown.
Add the rice, stir
add the chicken, water and salt.
Close the lid, lock, and set on Porridge for 1:05 minutes.
Remove the chicken and shred.
Serve and garnish with green onions, fried shallots, and fish sauce.

Instant Pot Easy Indian Chicken Curry – Instant Pot Chicken Recipe
In this video I showed you how to make chicken curry in Instant Pot. This is a very basic Indian style chicken curry recipe. It is extremely easy to make, very simple , requiring very few basic ingredients but extremely delicious. Though I am making this chicken curry in my Instant Pot pressure cooker, you can easily make this recipe on a stove top or in a normal pressure cooker.

Ingredients required for this simple chicken curry –
*Chicken – bone in leg & thigh pieces (skinless) – 945 gms / 2 lb
*Potatoes (optional) – 566 gms / 1.24 lb / 3 large
*Onion – 1 large /328 gms / 11.6 oz
*Ginger – 3 inches length
*Garlic cloves – 10 large cloves
*Tomatoes – 2 large / 311 gms / 11 oz
*Dry Bayleaf- 1 large
*Cinnamon stick – 2 inches length
*Paprika- 1 tablespoon or 2 teaspoons of Kashmiri red chili powder
*Red chili powder/cayenne pepper- ½ teaspoon or 1/4th teaspoon if you are using Kashmiri red chili powder or you can leave it out completely if you do not want it to be spicy
*Turmeric powder/haldi-1 teaspoon
*salt – a pinch for adding to the onions and 1 & ½ teaspoons for making the curry. Please add salt less in the beginning and add it more later if required.
*sugar- 1 tablespoon (optional)
*garam masala powder – 1 teaspoon
*Hot water – 1 cup or ½ cup (if you want less gravy)
Oil – 5 to 6 tablespoons
Method —
-Add ginger ,garlic, green chili to your blender jar and make a fine paste
– Set your IP to saute mode
-Once it turns hot, add oil
-Add the onions , add a pinch of salt
-saute till onions soften but do not brown up too much
-Add the ginger garlic green chili paste and saute for 2 minutes
-Add chicken pieces and stir till the chicken turn pale brown
-Add the tomatoes, paprika, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt
-Stir till all the tomatoes get soft and mixes with the chicken and most of the liquid dries up.
-Add the sugar, then add potatoes and stir
-Add garam masala powder
-Add water
-Switch off the saute mode
-Switch on poultry function. I like my chicken to be very soft, hence chose poultry function. If you do not want your chicken to fall off the bones, then choose manual function and press adjust and set time for 12 minutes only.
-Turn vent to sealing position
-Once done switch off IP and release pressure naturally
-Enjoy with rice or roti.

Thai Basil Beef – Instant Pot Ground Beef Recipes. @instantpotlife

Ingredients:

10-15 Thai Basil leaves (this is the same as Sweet Basil)
1-2 Chili Peppers
1 Tablespoon Oil
3 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
1-1.5 lbs Ground beef
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Oyster Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste

Direction

1. Open the lid. Select Saute on the Instant Pot
2. Once it heats up, add in the oil, garlic, and chili pepper
3. Once browned, add in the ground beef
4. When meat is partially cooked, add in soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir then turn off Instant Pot.
5. Add in Thai basil.
6. Close the lid. Select Manual, High Pressure Cooking, for 3 minutes
7. When done, QR (quick release – release pressure immediately by turning to vent) and serve.

* Remove any excess oil before serving.
