Instant Pot has gotten in the game and released a pressure cooker with a detachable air frying lid. Sounds great right? Maybe not! Is it better than the attached lid on the Ninja Foodi? Take a look for yourself as I demonstrate making hand-cut fries in both appliances. You definitely want to watch this video BEFORE you buy one so you choose the best fit for you!

Here’s how I cook a whole frozen chicken in my Instant Pot!

Ingredients:

1 Whole Chicken with giblets removed (mine was 5lbs)
1-2 T. of cooking oil
1-2 t. salt
1/2 t. black pepper
1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. smoked paprika
1/2 t. dried thyme
3 garlic cloves (optional)
1 lemon, sliced (optional)

Cook on Manual setting for 10 minutes per pound (mine was 5lbs so I cooked it for 50 minutes). Let NPR for at least 10 minutes. Optionally, broil 3-4 minutes per side on a foil lined pan to crisp up the skin. Strain and save broth from the pot for soup or other recipes! Enjoy!

Crock-pot Grape Jelly and BBQ Sauce Meatballs Recipe.
Meatball, ketchup, sloppy joe sauce, grape jelly & sweet chili sauce
Easy Appetizer for Parties and Potlucks. How to video.

Please help my channel & SUBSCRIBE, there gonna remove monetization on Feb 20th 2018 if I don’t reach 1000 subscribers! Thanks for your support!

Recipe:
4-5 lbs. Frozen Italian Meatballs(or vegetarian, or vegan meatballs)
1 can (16oz) Sloppy Joe Sauce (Hunt’s Manwich Sauce)
2 cups BBQ Sauce (I used sweet baby ray’s)
2 cups Grape Jelly (Welches concord grape jelly)
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce.

Place all ingredients in crock-pot, turn on low heat for 8hrs or more. To make them faster you can use high heat for 2hrs or until the meatballs are hot.

You can also use vegetarian or vegan meatballs such as those from Quorn, they work well for this recipe and I’ve made mini patches for parties for non-meat eaters.

Are you looking for a new way to prepare a pork loin? Why not try this easy to prepare Apple Cider Pork loin. This was originally posted on http://www.copykat.com/2017/01/22/instant-pot-apple-cider-pork-loin/

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 large sliced white onion
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons garlic
salt and pepper to season roast
5 to 6 pound pork loin
1 1/2 cups hard cider

If you are using hard cider, measure out your hard cider, and allow it to go flat while you prepare the remaining part of the recipe. Set the Instant Pot to saute. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the pot. Heat oil until it is hot. Add sliced onion, garlic, and a pinch of salt. Saute until the onions are almost translucent. Saute roast on all sides until it just begins to brown. Add flat hard cider, place the lid on the Instant Pot. Pressure cook for 55 minutes on the manual setting. Once the roast has finished cooking you can perform a quick release.
