Love all your videos. Yesterday I found a weevil in my pancake mix. I have never heard of them before. Do you know about them. If so what do you do for them. Congratulations on your sweet little baby.

Your tomato slicer will cut anything that fits in it. Tomatoes, cold cooked potatoes, eggs, pastry, fridge biscuits. If you confine it to one use you will quickly lose interest. Cakes looks yummy xx

If I babysit, will you reset my kitchen?Lol
I need to do this badly. I bet it felt good to have that done. I got tired of hunting down my measuring cups, so I just ordered 1-cup measuring cups to keep in my bins. I hope it makes baking a bit easier.

Our saying goes "It's all about the tool" Meaning whatever tool or gadget makes things more effecient or easier !! Nice organization. We have been in our home 7 months and still not as organized. My seeds are all started now combatting spider mites that I just ordered Neem Oil from Amazon to get delivered this afternoon. Of course our growing season is earlier than Y'alls. We also just ordered a portable greenhouse for our plantings to harden them off before we plant in our garden that we are also working and putting together.

Put the coat bar just behind the broom and mop "hooky things" . But it is great the way it is!! You could alternatively put a few more hooks on the back of the door for company. I'd place the bench back a foot (so you can step in a little if you want. and swap the broom and mop. Broom is used more. Put a lidded trunk and shelf on back wall. (gloves and hats in baskets)

When it comes to potatoes I take 3 lbs of peeled potatoes cut up, salt and pressure cook in my instant pot for 5 min….let pressure go down then I drain if there is too much water….add butter and seasonings and mash. Fluffy cooked potatoes ready for dinner. Don’t put butter in it and you can dehydrate the mashed potatoes.

Using the instant pot ( I have an 8 qrt and a 12 qrt ) is great. The large one holds lots of chicken legs for making pulled chicken then put bones back in for good broth. It holds two whole chickens which I do all the time $1.29 lb for a two pack. I buy 10 lb roll of hamburger, sautéed it and drain. Ready to can or dehydrate. I don’t rinse my meat for canning, just drain well…
Some people dont care for the dehydrated texture but I mix some breadcrumbs into mine like a chef suggested he does in his back packed dehydrated hamburger.

Becky I finally did it. I just ordered the square containers. I too have the round pickle jar containers where I keep my flour, sugar, etc. and let me tell you it’s a mess when I bake. I think it’s going to make my life a lot easier and less messy. 🤗 Thanks !

I think your little sun room would make do for a greenhouse til you get yours set up. Put a couple of your tables out there natural light by day grow lights by evening then off over night

You should put hooks on the door and then put the shoe rack on the wall you had the coats on. Then you can have a small shelves on the back wall for baskets for hats gloves and dog items. This will use all your space instead of wasting the extra space.

Hi Becky. I realized that I live close to you so I’m going to pay close attention and follow your lead for the garden. This is my 4th summer here and the last 2 growing seasons were interrupted by family emergencies. I’ve been very successful at tomatoes but less in other vegetables so really hoping to take some good tips from you to have a successful little back yard garden this year. Thank you for sharing your kitchen and garden with us.

Ok question for you? I ordered the 6 pack of buckets you linked on Amazon and I purchased the gamma lids at my winco. And I cannot get them to fit on. I thought the lids were universal. Is there a trick to get them on or did you buy special gamma lids for these buckets?

I live not too far from you and I’ve been getting all my organizational stuff at Grocery Outlet for super cheap. Like the same drawer inserts on Amazon was $25 and I paid $3.99. I highly recommend anyone in the PNW to check them out.
