Hey family!!! I hope y'all are having a fantastic day!! <3 So, the teacher inside of me is dying right now because I used the wrong word when I typed out what Audra was saying about the sausage balls… It should read THEY'RE too hard, not THERE. I am telling y'all, I almost wanted to fix it and upload the video again, but then it would have taken two more hours for it to upload. LOL! I went to college y'all for early childhood education, I promise! LOL! In my defense I had just woken up from a nap with Mr. Manley when I edited that part, so I was still half asleep… LOL!! Love y'all!

I know this is an old video but I just came back to it to grab your sausage ball recipe. I just got home from my last mad dash to Wal-Mart. I literally walked out of Walmart at 6, which is what time they closed tonight. Hoping I got everything/enough but if I didn't it's to late now. I grabbed the stuff to make sausage balls while we make cookies for Santa tonight. As I was walking to the register at Walmart, I noticed a bag of frozen sausage balls made by Tennessee Pride. I decided to grab a bag to try because I really need to be wrapping all these gifts tonight instead of making sausage balls. I wasn't expecting much but decided to pop them in the oven when I got home. Let me tell you they are delicious!! All you do is bake them for 14 mins, flipping them over halfway through the cook time. They've got a little spice to them & taste almost identical to the real deal. My craving is satisfied for tonight but I'll probably make the homemade ones tomorrow. Just letting you know in case you have a hankering for some but don't feel like making them. Such an awesome find & shortcut!!

The recipe I use for sausage balls is 1 lb sausage, 1.5 cups Bisquick, and 8 oz cheese. I roll them about the size of a golf ball and cook for about 20 min. They are so soft and so good! Especially with some grape or blackberry jam! And the turnover you made is basically what we call fried pies around here! We fry them instead of baking them. I may try baking them sometime soon! You can use any kind of filling like apple, cherry, peach pie fillings. They are good too!!!

My mom used to make those sausage balls with bisquick when I was a kid. I LOVED them..i can't eat gluten anymore so I can't eat the regular ones, but they do make a gluten free Bisquick. I'll have to get some and try it with that.

Hello beautiful family. Wife, Cathy here. I sent a late message to you all on the one where Titus is making his tomato soup. So I did make it this evening and oh my goodness my we LOVED it!! I told my hubby not to get jealous because I'm taking Titus to the kitchen with me. :-)) And I accidentally hit the pause button when you were putting your tomatoes in the oven. Just had to go there :-)) " sorry " Anyway, absolutely love it when you all are in the kitchen. God bless you all. 11/26

I think it's a good idea to let the little guys help with the cooking including the boys. I think it will help them later in life. Also I think it's so cute how Manly was watching his big sister Sissy Mae.

I have made sausage balls every year for Christmas for over 20 years. Everyone in my family expects them. They are my favorite treat at Christmas! You use a little different recipe than I do. I use 2 cups of bisquick, 1cup of sharp cheddar cheese and Jimmy Dean sausage. I bake them for 15 minutes. If you let your sausage sit out for 30 minutes before you make your balls they are a lot easier to mix up. The chocolate turnovers look yummy!

I cook my hotdogs in the Nuwave….The hotdogs get grill marks as well….And you can use frozen or thawed hot dogs….just increase the time from 7 minutes to 9 minutes….Taste just like on the grill ๐Ÿ™‚ !!!
