I like these ideas! No idea where I will find mochi cake though. Think that will involve a trip into central London! The risotto looked good, will definitely take me longer than 6 minutes with my crappy hob though lol

Sorry I'm late with my reply; yesterday we were at my parents for their anniversary 🙂 I love these miso dama. I've even seen books with ideas. I've put them on my wishlist but never ordered them hahaha I usually have to make miso soup for just myself. My husband doesn't like the taste of miso and my daughter it's always a guess if she'll eat it. Perhaps she'll eat the corn one. But I love miso, I really should try to make it more for myself. I usually add whatever I have left in the refrigerator. I really love kabocha, spinach, tofu or konnyaku. If I add daikon I always just heat the daikon through so it's warm but still crunchy.
Did your chldren eat the one with chocolate or did they decide at mealtime it wasn't the best flavour afterall? hahaha
Kiri boshi daikon is not easy to get here, but it's so easy to make it yourself so I usually do that. I've been making batches all winter because it dries do quickly then 😀 I love mochi, but it's hard te get here (especially since the pandamic started and with brexit; I got a lot of things from the UK). I've seen videos to make it yourself so perhaps I'll try that someday.

I have been interested in making these miso balls but never tried making them yet! Your recipe looks very simple and the ingredients you use are yummy💕And the idea of putting grilled mochi is worth spreading! (also the scene of you eating is very lovely😍)

    Miwa i have a question!

Sometimes you keep dashi packets whole and then remove the packet during cooking (for example at the beginning of your "3 miso soup recipes" video). In this video you opened the packet and stirred in the seasonings. How do you decide whether to open the dashi packet or not?

Thank you, i love your channel and i'm learning so much!

Hi Miwa… Excellent recipes…. I'm learning a lot abt Japanese cuisine and the ingredients name nowadays… Actually couple of days back I was thinking of asking you abt baby corn… And what a coincidence you prepared your rice with corn today… Do you guys use baby corn in your dishes… Just curious to know…

Nowadays I'm searching lot's of Japanese ingredients on my online grocery stores… though I don't buy I'm learning from you how to handle those ingredients… Here since those items were a foreign origin they're so costly here… But still I'm curious to buy your miso paste…let me see when I am able to make it. And as always I enjoyed your smile and your blushing face at the end when the rice cake got messy while you eat… It was cute… Lots of love Miwa…❤️❤️❤️
