What substitutes would you recommend for someone who can't stand mushrooms?
I can't use the mixed veggies (allergic to celery) so I use a can of green beans, a can of whole kernel corn and a can of diced potatoes. I don't use the can of soup instead I use broth (same flavor as the meat) and corn starch for the "gravy". I wonder how much of a difference the taste would be?

Yum! I wonder if you could convert this to shepherds pie by omitting the top pie crust and substituting mashed potatoes on top. Maybe leave the canned potatoes out of the filling too.
