The Instant Pot is amazing. I have one as well as the Ninja Foodi that has the pressure cooker and air fry in one. I love them. Side note, don't use PAM in your air fryer…the non-stick coating will eventually flake off due to the soy lecithin. Instead use spray avocado oil or oil in a misting bottle.

I do something somewhat similar- so easy in crock pot. Put in crock pot: some Beef stew meat, a can Cream of mushroom (add another 1/2 can if using more than 1 pack of stew beef), one packet LIPTON onion soup powder, 1/2- 1 cup sour cream, a cup of red wine- cook low as long as u need! Never screwed that up, can’t really overcook too much. Put over egg noodles or rice.

Random question…. the French onion rice bake that she makes …. could I sub brown rice for white rice and it turn out just as good? Would have to cook longer I’m sure , right?

Love the chicken soup recipe! If you don't want the noodles in a soup to take away flavor or soak up too much broth, I keep them separate and add when it's time to eat or reheating a serving the next day. I keep the cooked noodles in a ziplock bag . Used this trick for my version of Asian noodle soup.
