Goddammit now I want a pretzel. >:(
Look.
I love that there's something like a German Market since we, in Germany, got like American stores and Asia markets and whatnot
But boy oh boy this really screams German
Did I read that correctly? $10.00 for a pretzel?!!
Arlequins candies !
If the store has it, try Ahoj Brause!! This brand makes a lot of fizzy-sour candies. Usually the packets of powder you're supposed to add to water to would be eaten straight out the packet. But nowadays they have a lot of other candies as well! My childhood…
Brottrunk is wery gooooooooooood
I’m currently learning Deutsch so going to a German Market would help! Where can I find this?
Plz do a Jewish market. Get some challah and gefitile fish and ruglach
You should try this Romanian dish called “sarmale” or also known as cabbage rolls they are with meat inside of them and they are so good! I recommend it fresh!
Uhh did you buy the ,,Hand Cheese" ? 🤩 The "Hand Käs" how it's called here in Hessen ( a region of Germany) Hand Käs is a very Typical dish in Hessen and especially the region around Frankfurt and the two rivers Rhein and Main. It's usually served as ,,Hand Käs mit Musik" Hand Käs with music.
Here is a recipe for the marinade:
– chopp the cheese in thick slices
– finely chopped onions
– white wine vinegar
– cooking oil
– Salt, pepper and sugar
– cumin
– served with: bread and butter
Heyy you bought Handkäse! That is a special stinky cheese from Germany, Frankfurt. Eat it in thw following way: mix up 200 ml of vinegar and 200 ml of sunflower oil/ regular oil (but no olive oil or oil with special own flavor). Then chop one white onion to smal pieces and add it to the oil vinegar sauce. Now let the cheese rest for at least 1 hour. You can also leave the cheese up to 48h in the dressing. Eat the cheese with a piece of german bread 🍞 and unsalted butter. Feel free to top the cheese with the onions. Drink frankfurt apple cider / apfelwein wirh the food. Welcome to frankfurt! 😘
