Vegan Pantry Tour!
For more great Instant Pot recipes, please visit InstantPotEasy.com
Many of you have been asking me to do a pantry tour so I thought I’d whip out my camera and do an easy breezy casual tour of all the staples I keep…but that is …
Sumac is great in tabouli. Faro is great in minestrone but just use a little. It is calorie dense.
Tapioca flour makes cheese sauces stretchy. You should try it.
I love your pantry! So organized and so much real, healthy food. Sumac is delicious! It's lemony and a little tart. I love it on caramelized onions which are amazing on top of mujaddara/kushari 😋 Hope you're doing well!
How long do nuts, flaxseeds, etc. last in a pantry? I keep in the fridge or even the freezer…
Is that TJ soymilk organic by chance?
Yes, PLEASE to ALL the tours mentioned! This was great, although, I admittedly now have pantry envy! 😉 Just kidding! Totally appreciated the tour! 👍🏻💖👋
Yes please. I love tours. I love snooping
❤️😍I’m so jealous! Your so organized. I keep most of my pasta ,dry beans, oats, flour, vitamins, dates and rice in the refrigerator to keep them fresh. My extra refrigerator is a disaster. 😬
Dillon, I heard you say lasagna takes longer to make. I make lasagna roll ups. Instead of layering, just boil a few lasagna pieces, and then spread on whatever type of vegan ricotta cheese you like (I make cashew) mixed with spinach and/or broccoli, mushrooms, etc. Then just roll them up, put in pan and throw sauce over them. So fast and easy. Love to see you make a video of it.
I need all of those ingredients to continue trying new recipes during this quarantine! Thanks for sharing! I tried your Thanksgiving recipe last year and I’m still happy about that!
I definitely want to see the basement storage. Love your videos!
If I ever have a home/apartment to myself. It will be full freezer, full fridge, and large pantry. Food storage is my thing. Who else hoards food?
Great video…..amazing how close your shopping and eating and storing is so similar to ours. Keep up the good work and cooking!
Do you order your bulk spices and grains online?
Yes please, to more tours. Tapioca flour is a key ingredient to making a home-made mozzarella that you can either grate into shreds, or melt and it’s got the same stretchy quality as traditional dairy mozzarella. Check out the website itdoesnttastelikechicken.com for some recipes.
Your pantry looks great! I have very little space in my kitchen, so needless to say I'm envious!
Shouldn’t your maple syrup be in the refrigerator?
You sound a little irritated. But I loved the tour. Thanks. I love your channel.
Gotta keep that maple syrup in the fridge 😉
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! BIG HELP!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I need a fridge tour so bad! I thought I had things organized before with the old lifestyle food and now I don't know what belongs where and what is going to go bad when and AH! i can't find anything and when I do it was behind 14 other things and I need some direction! The pantry tour was awesome because since switching to this new lifestyle a month ago everything is just thrown wherever because I barely even know what it is much less know how I should organize it LOL! I just needed it for a recipe and I'm not sure if I'll need it again and so even though it was a lot of work it was very much appreciated you guys! I can't wait for my pantry and fridge to look familiar enough to spark joy!
For 1… I’m now questioning if I’ve been storing maple syrup wrong.. I put mine in the fridge.
Also; I would love to see how you can your beans! I know you need to do it in a pressure canner, and I have one but I’m terrified to use it! Lol
Genuine question: Is this how the average vegan american pantry looks usually? My pantry is like 15% of this and I don't have food anywhere else like in the garage…
I love all the glass jars! I am getting great ideas for organizing my pantry! I also need to get some bins for onions and potatoes. YES, please do more tours and show us a picture of what you get rid of! No need to go item by item, but it's nice to see a picture of what was thrown away or moved elsewhere!
The maple syrup and the natural peanut butter should be refrigerated after opening! I don't want you and Reebs to get sick.
Loved this! Next tour please!!
I would love to know where to get dried mushrooms and mushroom powder.
Yes more tours please!
Do all the tours!
Thanks for the video 😘
What do you like to put on your popcorn 🍿?
LOL🤣😂The Lockdown got everybody cleaning!!! 😏I guess something good came out of this craziness (we call life at the moment)…
Why isn’t your maple syrup in the fridge? Once opened it is supposed to go in the fridge. Just saying.
Looks amazing, great job 👍😃
I am new to being vegan, so your pantry tour was extremely educational for me. Thanks, Dillon!! Love your channel and videos. Yes, please give us as many tours as you can.
I would have liked to see the pile of things that 'didn't spark joy' and were removed!
And yes to all the other tour types you mentioned at the end.
I wish I had a pantry!
Haha! My name is… Nooch!
Loved it, I would also love to see a refrigerator/freezer and basement tour. 😊
Yes, a tour of everything. LOL. I just love watching ur videos.
No oatmeal?
I, like Reebs, impulse-purchased some powdered peanut butter, then was, like, "What now?" I'm thinking of trying it in a Thai-inspired peanut curry or peanut sauce but I haven't gotten around to it. Maybe you guys can come up with something (big old hint, right there.) Cheers!
I would especially like to see the basement tour
Nutmeats! 😆. I think you’re set for the quarantine! Great stock you have! I wanna eat at your house! Btw, Butler recommends keeping the soy curls in fridge/freezer for longevity.
Yes more tours please
I love the look on Dillon’s face when Reebs says “it’s a mess in here.” 😆
I want to remember that phrase, “a damn bonfire of joy.”
More tours, please.
Love it! My "pantry" is an Omar shelf from IKEA so I have to work with what I got. Baskets are a life saver!
Isn't maple syrup supposed to be refrigerated after opening.
Impressed that you could get that much into one pantry. Wow.
