Omg I looooove you. You're so unapologetic. I'm binging you so hard right now. I also never trusted unnatural vegan for her apologist nature and naturally she devolved into an overt apology. You've definitely reinvigorated my vegan heart. So glad I've come across you. No mor middling veganism. The truth, the facts.

    Edit: word mistake, word missing

I appreciate your well constructed statements and arguments. I do have to say though, that when it comes to food which is non vegan which is in the fridge (i.e you just turned vegan), I don’t think it’s necessarily wrong to consume it because it’s dead and it’s better to use it than waste it. This is maybe because I am not coming from a perspective where animals = human babies, however I do think that consuming animal products which are left overs DOES open doors to see animal products as foods. And that I do not find OK. Because animals ARE NOT FOOD.

I agree with a lot of what you said, but like before, your messaging seems a bit counterproductive. If you think it is a problem that UV is leaving out important discuss, you should be using a value-based approach to address it. It is clear that UV has a strong support, although recently wavering, due to her value-based messaging and overall tone. At the same, your identity as a freedom fighter and building a strong movement most include this inclusive, critical, and value-based messaging. Without this communication, the movement becomes fragmented and weak.

Actually, I can personally confirm that not all prison facilities offer vegan or vegetarian meals. I was recently locked up in New Mexico in Portalas and I told them I eat a vegan diet because of my vegan lifestyle and they outright told me they do not an will not provide those diets and I even told them at three different health checkups but they didn't care to accommodate me in the least. Sure, you could give away the portion of the meal that contains dead flesh but even the veggies were soaked in butter. You could put in an inmate request but they still refused.

Exactly.. As long as exceptions are given, the ideology will continue. If animals have moral rights, then we must leave them alone–period. We must accept their negative right to be left alone.

“To never speak on the atrocities…” Swayze has spoken on animal cruelty, many times. As a lawyer I’m certain you’re aware of the danger of absolute statements.

Although it is disgusting that such poverty exists that a movement like freeganism has gained traction, calling their diet disgusting because they have less than you is lacking perspective on your part. Over 100,000 children are homeless or without a permanent home in New York according to The NY Times. Movements like freeganism exist because of realities such as that.

Speaking on prison, you’re assuming that all nations are as kind as the singular anecdote you pulled up. Newsflash, they’re not.

“Get a new psychologist.” Again, lacking perspective on your part. It can be time consuming and expensive to do such. Not all, in fact quite few, have that time or money.

I would title you a human supremacist, and beyond that, an elitist, as it seems you’ve no perspective of suffering let alone human suffering.

Love this! For me a 10+ year vegan the only time I know would kill anyone is in true self defense. As in someone (human animal, canine animal etc) actively trying to kill me or my off spring. So yes in the ridiculous if a tiger was trying to eat me I would fight back same as if a murderer was trying to kill me I would fight back. I like my chances better with the murderer. I also would not eat either of them if I managed to save myself. We are animals and our evolutionary drive is self preservation and protection of offspring. Anyone who says it is okie to kill animals to eat make me sick because to me there is no difference in killing a non-human animal as there is killing a human animal. It is all murder, and to me the only morally acceptable murder is in the case of true self defense.

It's not because you use big words that you make sense. Most of your comebacks to her points are void of any actual counter argument. I can see the lawyer in you, a lot of words, but not a lot of sense.

What you say about destroying human supremacy is so spot on. I started caring about animals when I began to thoroughly listen to my favourite band's lyrics which pointed out how merciless the human race is. They never explicitly mentioned anything about animal rights, but by dismantling human supremacy it allowed me to come to that conclusion myself. I didn't have to be told to care about animals, all I needed was to ditch the ignorant philanthropy (as the vocalist puts it). I believe that in order to be fully vegan you must experience a visceral ego death at some point. You can't cause meaningful progress if you still bear the same supremacist mindset that you had before

There once lived a "vegan" by the name of Swayze Foster
Beware! Her vitriol will come your way if you've crossed her
    Human supremacy is her schtick
    Apologism her trusty sidekick
    Let's get real; she's a vegan imposter

my husband was a correctional officer for a few years. i guess it depends on the prison. it’s technically possible to eat vegan but options are incredibly limited and you will be starving.

UV vegan believe in Hierarchy of Sentience, and she believe that it has some scientific foundations. Well, I don't think so. Because I know that we cannot quantify sentience. Think about Saint Thomas Aquinas and his Hierarchy of Beings… It’s just mumbo jumbo.
