    TOP FOOD says:

    Ingredients:
    • 500g beef, cut into cubes
    • 4 onions, chopped
    • ½ bell pepper (mixed color), chopped
    • 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
    • 5 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 1 knob of ginger, minced
    • 2 tomatoes, chopped
    • Salt, to taste
    • 1 teaspoon Top Food Meat Tenderizer
    • 1 teaspoon Top Food Black Pepper
    • 2 tablespoons Top Food Beef Masala
    • 1 tablespoon Top Food Paprika
    • 1 teaspoon Top Food Cumin Powder
    • 2 tablespoons Sora Mchuzi Mix
    • Coriander leaves for garnish
    • Water for cooking
    • Oil for cooking
    For Ugali:
    • 2 cups maize flour
    • 4 cups water
    Instructions:
    1. In a large bowl, season the beef with salt, Top Food Meat Tenderizer, and Top Food Black Pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
    2. Heat some oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and sear it on all sides until browned. Remove the beef from the pot and set it aside.
    3. In the same pot, add more oil if needed and sauté the onions until translucent.
    4. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
    5. Add the chopped bell pepper and carrots. Stir well and cook for a few minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
    6. Add the chopped tomatoes and stir well.
    7. Add the seared beef back to the pot, along with Top Food Beef Masala, Top Food Paprika, Top Food Cumin Powder, and Sora Mchuzi Mix. Stir well to coat the beef and vegetables with the spices.
    8. Add enough water to cover the beef and vegetables. Bring the curry to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 45-60 minutes until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened.
    9. While the beef curry is cooking, prepare the Ugali. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Gradually add the maize flour while stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming. Reduce the heat to low and continue stirring until the mixture thickens and forms a dough-like consistency. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
    10. Serve the Kenyan Beef Curry hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves, and accompanied with the Ugali. Enjoy!
