Everybody cleans or takes care of their cast iron differently seems like. My mama made us wash dishes when we were young and never told us about how to clean the cast iron. She took good care of them and I have one of her frying pans that I treat very well. I wash it with Dawn but I run water over the top of the bottle to get grease fighting liquid on it but I season it very well afterwards. To me I think it's disgusting just wipe it after using it. I've seen people put that on YT. It's gross.

I'm so glad you have a blog/channel. I'm constantly going to your blog to learn how to make non-toxic everyday products. I have so much hope that I am decreasing my family's chances of getting cancer. Of course, the rest is in God's hands! But anyway, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. You're a blessing!

I enjoy you and you back bone to carry your baby around. You are a good Mom. I must say that I am the tag police. All those tags hanging off pillows and cushions need to come off. No one will be arrested but it would look so much better. bye Joyce

after 20 + years having a sun room we decided to put Heavy Duty Insulating Film Window Kit on the INSIDE of our big windows for the last two years. Keeps the dust, dirt, fly's, wasps, and other bugs and dirt out!!! I used to work hard cleaning fall and spring. Now I no longer have that work to do. Stays so nice and clean!! Wish we would have done that years ago. We thought it would make it hot but not only is it no hotter than other years BUT warmer in the winter. 🙂

What I have noticed but never wanted to mention because I didn’t want to be perceived as a hater because I do like your channel. But my concern is that you seem to be short of breath when you talk. I thought perhaps it was the baby leaning against your chest but I notice it even when you aren’t holding the baby. That maybe be your “normal” but thought I’d mention it

I use soap on my cast iron with no problems… I cook with mine everyday as well, and they’re well seasoned and nonstick. And your big breakfast looks delicious! ❤ xo

I had a porch that got pine tree pollen all over it and it made it miserable to sit out there…my solution was inexpensive clear shower curtains hung over the screen windows…..some have small weights in the hems to weigh it down to keep straight.
I used heavy jute string across thru the holes and wrapped each two panel sections with a hook every section of window…that way you can open the ones you want for air….also made it nice when rain was blowing it didn’t get the furniture wet….
