A luscious mild curry with fall-apart beef and bell peppers. We let this easy beef curry cook slowly in the slow cooker. Just a little …
Do you have a favourite meal to cook in the slow cooker?
Simple, thanks. As spinach at the end, butternut squash, sweet.
In these days of high energy cost’s, cooking in a slow cooker is very advantageous. Similar to a 40 watt light bulb approximately on slow. The reuse of a 500 gr Flora plastic box with lid, is ideal to freeze the remains of the Chilli to use later, my microwave has a defrost facility you can adjust by weight, and then heat up on microwave .Enough for one hungry person, or two normal. Or at my advanced age, 87 two separate meals. I would also add, that I have done this with Nicky’s other excellent recipes.
Delicious and Mutti Polpa are superstars!
Would this work just as well with lamb?
I'm not a fan of shop bought pastes etc as i like to make my curries from scratch but i do like the look of your easy slow cooker curry but the coconut our family hate it so would it be possible to omit it and add say more tomatoes?
Amazing recipe oh wow Look so delicious
Thank you 🙏🏾 for sharing
Is there a substitute for the coconut milk
Brilliant channel…great recipes !
Hey Nikki, what kind of slow cooker do you use there ?..
Good and yummy recipe as always …..very similar with our Pakistani cuisine
I was watching this in bed last night and it looked that good I've went out this morning early to get the ingredients to have it tonight haha. Fingers crossed its nice.
Convenience cooking is OK for people who don’t want to really learn how to cook or can’t find the time. Tins and pre-mixed pastes are OK, but can never achieve the real depth and breadth of flavours from using fresh spices and herbs. You can make your own in very little extra time and cost and the taste is exponentially better than this type of short-cut method.
Hmm! This is absolutely delicious! It's best to have coconut milk in it!
Well that's me for Friday dinner sorted.
That looks lovely. Will be great after a few beers. Have made quite a few of your recipes now. We all really enjoyed your peanut pork. Thank-you from New Zealand.
Why use a slow cooker? Just put it in the oven.
I'd love to do this, but there's only me. 😞😞😞
Hi Niki! Can I ask where you got the single gas hob from, I would love one for my garden room. Thank you in advance Niki, love your recipes.
Hearty grub. Thank you for this video. Definitely on the dinner list
What happened to a normal pot on the stove?
I don't have a slow cooker so what temperature is high in a slow cooker ?
Morning Niki, that looks so good I can almost smell that on=line!! Home cooking is best, fresh tasty and hot from the pot. Thank you for sharing, so heart warming. Kind regards.
Thank you for the video!
I really like curry thanks for sharing this recipe.
I love all your curries recipes!!! I don’t have a slow cooker. Any tips for cooking this in a Dutch oven or an instant pot? Also, can you please do a Thai curry? Thanks! x
Can't fault this recipe. I will use a hotter paste. I don't own a slice cooker but will do this on the stove top
Every time I make a slow cooker curry it’s always watery and doesn’t thicken. I prefer the oven with the lid ajar to let excess steam out.
I broke my tablet screen trying to get my spoon into your bowl at the end of the video.
