Hey I like your video I heard on someone's review that the product had wifi connection issues and it was being discontinued please say this is not true I want one please let me know thanks
Can you remote control your instant Pot outside your house?
Too many words, too little information. Another what it does bu5 no how to do it.
Nice Vid! So can i throw the ingredients in it say an hour ahead & then start it from outside,so its ready by the time i get home ?
Thanks for the review but your audio could use some help.
The functionality of this device is cool. My question is, do they have their own "blue apron" type of service that would have meals that coordinate directly with the app? That would be the cherry on top.
So far the best explaination available for this pot
Just got one and linked it to Alexa too!
Looking forward to getting up to speed on it Asap …
First try with app I didn’t realize the time setting was HH:MM and tried hard boiled eggs for six hours 😬
I feel like I watched this video inside of a mason jar, haha!
Can you add your ingredients in the morning and let them sit all day in the pot on the counter? To set to later and come home from work with dinner ready? Is that safe food handling – say raw chicken sitting at room temp all day?
Wait- you said you can control it via the internet (not just home wifi network?) How does it do this? Is it connecting to some instant pot service that they maintain, or you need some kind of client running on a computer connected to the internet?
Can I see the status of my pot if I go outside and use data?
I think there are so many things that make us lazy. This is only one of millions and it's unhealthy to be lazy. Also alot of us are so busy that we need these things but on the other hand, it's things like this that allow us to get busy doing something else. Don't get me wrong, I t think this is very cool and your video is awesome. I just had to voice my opinion why we need some of these things. When I was young, we went to school and mom cook all day and we sat down together and ate a meal. No one one the run and we were all very healthy. The changes are pretty cool but I miss the old days too. On the other hand, I love the new items now days. Thank you for the video.❤👍🙂
No do not buy this brand!!!! Horrible customer service which makes this product a nightmare
Totally ordering this. Thank you so much for this simple to follow explanation.
Just more radiations like it wouldn't be enough of what we have everywhere we go. And another word " smart " . You be smart or better yet wise and do not go crazy ! Cook in old fashion way , slow down , have connection with the food you cook. It's enough of madness going on. Bad idea. And please stop gloryfing business for god sake. Life already is moving way too fast. " Amazing , you even don't have to think " Yes, if you don't think you would be impressed with this pot but if you still are able to think on your own , you would never buy it.
In your video you mention being able to connect to the Instant Pot Smart WiFi over the internet. This means that your phone is not connected to the same WiFi network as the Instant Pot (unless your wifi reaches all the way to the mall). The Instant Pot documentation seems to suggest you need to be at home and connected to the same wifi network, but doesn't really address this explicitly. I've also seen comments and discussions online where people say, no you can't be at work and start the instant pot. I'm terribly confused here… would you please clarify this for me?
How does this smart Wi-Fi do natural release? I’ve seen videos of the screen counting down with the “L” but his doesn’t. What do I do? Does it do it in its own. When it’s in the “keep warm” function does it NR? Or must it go OFF to do it. Im new to IP. I’m lost. Please help. Thanks.
Great video. I appreciate the videography and editing. I would consider a shotgun mic to increase the audio quality to take your channel to the next level. Not complaining… just stating that you guys have done a great job and a little lighting / audio would really take your videos "TV" level.. nice job..
Is it OK to let the food sit for hours before starting the pressure cooking process? OMG, still on a fence about the Duo Plus, Wifi, and Ultra. Tried to see reviews on the Wifi, but it shows bad reviews for the Bluetooth. Is it advisable to brown the meat, add veggies, and the rest, then go to work? Sometimes we have to work late so our time back can range from 6 to 10 hours… It would open up a lot of possibilities for us to be able to rely on something like this… if it is OK to leave the meat and ingredients sitting for so long. What do you think?
Thank you for your video. I have decided to purchase this model. Being a newbie, I would like to know what accessories I should buy with this model. Thank you!
Is this IP same as IP Duo plus but with additional wifi feature? Also the price of this one and Duo plus are same (90$). Then it makes total sense to buy this one, right? Is my understanding correct? Thank you
That’s a weird relationship on android and One apple.. great video!
Can i use the smart wifi model without using an app?i mean just like using the regular models ,i recently got one,but didn't pay attention that It's instant pot smart wifi.
Good info but way too much "goes without saying but I am going to say it anyway."
Can I program it to get a wooden spoon and saute/braise my beef and veggies?
It may make sense to control a slow cooker remotely. Needing to control an "instant" pot remotely, however, is ridiculous on the face of things as indicated by the very name of the thing.
I am almost totally blind , lots of visually impaired/blind folks use the WiFi and Bluetooth pots simply because we can use our pots without sighted assistance reading the interface on the other non smart versions . We use voice over ( system on our phones that speak what’s on the screen ) to start stop select etc
Pretty neat ! I wish they would make a Braille overlay for non smart pots but I just used a Braille labeler and labeled mine
—- learn something new every day huh ?
It was half off yesterday for cyber monday so I ordered one. Never used an Instant Pot before so I'll be coming back to your channel often!
I am trying to decide between the WiFi or the Ultra. Which would you suggest?
This on sale today for cyber-monday I've never owned one of these before but have heard nothing but good things. I think this is definitely a good choice for a first timer. Thanks for helping me pull the trigger on this great deal!
Thanks for the review and information. I purchased it today (NY first instant pot). Can't wait to try it and see your other videos and recipes. Have a wonderful day.
Thank you… Excellent information. When are you planning to release another video with further information and how's to do. I am planning to buy soon Instant pot WiFI. Thank you!
