I’ve made your recipe many times and it always came out well. This time, I used a different brand tapioca and the result was less like “pearl” in coconut milk/soup, instead, it was more like starched coconut milk. Should I reduce the cooking time?

Tried this today and it turned out great! Only thing I did different was changing to pressure cook mode for 18 mins instead of using manual mode which does exist on my instant pot model 9 in 1.

I tried your recipe and did the 10 min of manual pressure cooking. But unfortunately, the taro was completely uncooked and the sago was completely melted. I ended up having to cook for another 50 min under manual pressure before the taro would even soften, but by then the sago was burnt and melted to the bottom of my pot.
I am wondering what kind of taro you used? I used the large sized taro root and cut it into bite sized pieces. Did you use small taro?
