I just tried this and didn't have cream of tartar or a substitute for it so I just followed the recipe exactly and made it without it and it turned out great! I just wanted to write and say this in case anyone else is wondering!! Great video Amy and if I was making it for someone else, I would follow it to a T but I am just making it for my kiddos! My favorite part was that I didn't have a messy pan to clean up afterwards!!
great video!
Great recipe. A lot better than the one l was using. Thanks from Australia 🙂
How long will it last? Moldy? Scent? Do you leave iy in the bag for a certain amount of time before using??
Is the vanilla for scent?
Thanks for this video! I'm going to give it a try. 🙂
I've used that recipe and it is awesome! 🙂
I gosh am I glad you did this video. All the recipes I try turn out too hard and crumbly. This one is soooo soft. I just made a bunch during nap time for the day care kids
So funny I went to make clay for taylers class and I thought I should watch a you tube video while I do it. I opened up my feed and there u were right on top lol I changed my recipe and made this one. I liked it!
His teacher is a genius! Why didn't I have my students' parents do that?!? Never tried this recipe, shall favorite it for when Ayden is ready 🙂
Do you know how long it can be used for? Won't it mold?
Awesome.. Gonna make some!
Wow! Looks awesome. Emily would love this recipe!
Can anything else be substitue for the cream of tartar? I dont have any and dont reallg want to spend the money or run to the store just for that. But i would really like to make this. We have a last minute play date tomorrow!
I make this for my kindergartens and sometimes instead of food colouring I use a jello packet. The colour isn't as vibrant but it smells great!
I'm sure that would work great!
I have some cake icing colors, might try those.
You definitely do NOT need that much coloring! 🙂 We stuck to the recipe b/c it was for Henry's preschool class. You don't need to use any color if you don't want too.
Do you really think you would need that much coloring? Seems like a lot and its such a bright color.
that was super easy. thanks for sharing
Cool! Want to do this some day!
You're welcome!
It is way softer and easier to work with! I love the color! I know! Super simple! 🙂
Awesome going to make this with my kidddos thanks!
