In Canada we have a show called Market Place. They overcharge for delivery. When the investigators went shopping in store, the food was cheaper than getting them delivered because they mark up their services.

The home people felt ripped off. The news people were using laptops and cel phones. Sharen

Hope you all feel better. We use instacart and Walmart delivery. We love being able to have that option. Before covid we would do our own shopping now it's pretty much those 2 places delivering our stuff. I am spoiled with this. I saved so much time not shopping. I love it

I found your channel about 2 weeks again when me and my family had covid. I have 3 kids and my husband and I here. My 9 year old never tested positive but the rest of us did. My husband and 13 year old had a slight cough and stuffy nose for 2 days. My 16 year old was extra tired and havd a cough. I on the other hand felt terrible for days. Hopefully you all are on the mend. I still sound a little sick but finally feel good.

Oh gosh, I hope you're feeling better very soon! I've done grocery delivery more lately just because I'm a little freaked out to go inside stores at the moment. So many people I know have gotten Covid recently! We have different stores here in NorCal (no Aldi 😞) and I'm still pretty new to the area, so I've had to try a few stores out and figure out what the best fit is for our household. Today I did try to do grocery pickup instead, but surprisingly not as many stores offer it here as they did in Ohio.

First and most importantly I hope you John and Allison feel better and recover soon.

I don’t have a car so for me grocery delivery has been normal for the last two years. It just makes it a whole lot easier, because trudging groceries home on the bus stinks. As near as I can tell the grocery store I use does not increase their prices whether you do delivery or curbside pick up. Delivery is on a sliding scale based on the day and time you choose. I do know there was another store that I wanted to get a delivery from but when I checked Instacart said the prices are higher than you will pay in the store and I chose not to get anything delivered.

From a purely selfish perspective I’m really glad you didn’t go live last Thursday. I had something at work go kablooey and I ended up stuck in meetings and thought but I am missing Jaime!!! I watched the replay, thinking I had missed it live. Hoping this Thursday is better and I can be there but judging by how my Monday is going I don’t know that’s going to happen. LOL

Just catching this. Prayers and hugs 🙏🤗 hoping nobody does get symptoms or you worse. Thx for the review. Still haven't tried the delivery. Aldi is our main store so always considered it

Walmart delivery for me! Most weeks for a big haul I prefer not to take my babies. I’m a stay at home mom so I always have them but when they are restless or just not having it I order in there. Get our groceries every Monday because if I get them in a weekend everyone decides to eat it all lol

So glad you and your family are on the mend. I use grocery delivery unless I just can't get a special ingredient. I find it keeps me from spending extra $$ plus it saves time. I always tip my delivery person/driver. Feel better.

Try having COVID at 81 still having effects after several weeks. God is good I never went to a doctor other than for allergy shots. I used Walmart delivery and was so thankful for this service.

I must say you look amazing for having covid! 💖
There was even a notice about covid on this video. 🤔
Luckily I, my sister and brother and his wife have not gotten covid. 🤞
I'm actually still going to my grocery store but I usually go late at night. There are very few people in the store when I go and I wear a mask. 😷 Someone told me this emoji 😷 was created because of covid.
My grocery store closes at 11:00 so I usually get there anywhere between 9 and 10 and still have plenty of time to shop.
The store I go to has pick up and they have about 15 parking spaces reserved for pickup. They also have delivery but I think it's run through Favor but I don't know all the particulars about it.
But speaking of price increases, I was getting my coffee at Walgreens. They had specials every week and every 3rd or 4th week they would have my 11.3 oz container of coffee for $2.99. I was getting the breakfast blend and suddenly it went up, even on sale. So I would pick up a couple of containers of Coffee when it was on sale but I got down to one can and they had it on sale but it went up to $3.49. The first time after the increase I even went on the first Tuesday of the month because seniors get a 20% discount. But since it was a sale item, they wouldn't give me a discount. I was already pissed because the sale price went up but not to give me a discount made me even madder. 😡 So I left, empty handed.
Walgreens, along with everyone else has gone up on prices. So I've pretty much stopped shopping there.
But I found a bag of breakfast blend coffee at DT. So I bought one and tried it. Not bad at all! Plus it was only $1.25 vs $3.49. The bag says it makes 40 cups and now I pick up one every time I go to DT. So you might want to check it out, whenever you can get out again. 😉
Something else I get at DT is quinoa. Again, $1.25. Also worth checking out. 😁
I've also gotten the frozen grilled chicken and that was so handy to have on hand. 👌
I hope I don't get into a situation where I can't get out. I'm sorry you're having to go through that. But I think you're doing remarkably well in all this. 🤗
Well I've rambled on again so I hope you're laying down while reading the comments. 😋
I'm glad you're not feeling too bad but you should still take it easy.
My sister and I have a friend who got covid in September, spent a month in the hospital then was transferred to a rehab hospital for another month and is currently in a nursing home/rehab facility and is finally starting to walk again. And she can't go home until she can walk again and her house has to be approved by the facility before she can return to it.
So my sister and I have been working on her house and are trying to clear space for her to walk without obstructions.
So you have been very lucky but please don't push it because I would hate to see you get like my friend.
And if you don't feel like doing a video this week, we totally understand. ❣️
Thanks for sharing another great video! 🥰
    And get well soon! 💞

I'm sorry to hear covid is visiting your house Jaimie. One of my one daughters in MI family of 5 all got it last Sept even after they all had been vaccinated! Thankfully it was mild for all of them. I'll be praying for you all.
I've had food delivered via Walmart, my other daughter had it delivered before Thanksgiving including a huge turkey and yes McCafe coffee too lol. I think it's via door dash she had free delivery and I think the fee was $3.95 plus a nice tip oh and she was able to pick a time frame for delivery.

I'm getting over covid too. Mainly I was extremely tired. My 9 yr old sneezed a lot, no fever but my 18 yr old had bad flu like symptoms. I'm glad you're doing better and got to try Aldi delivery.
