I immediately went to my King Soopers and Walmart apps to see if I could find shallots in a jar. Neither had it. Where do you find the jarred shallots, please.

Just my 2 cents worth. Aqua faba is generally a good oil substitute too… I use Eden brand. It is best for savory applications ike this recipe, as it has some kombu in it (yum). I like a lower salt content, so lessen the added salt. Good in the spread, and in salad dressings too. Jmo.
