Hi love your videos for beginners like me I watch how you do it. I made the curry paste dough from more spices than just curry powder. I added: a pinch of cumin, turmeric, white pepper, a pinch clove powder, salt, cayenne pepper small pinch, cinnamon and sugar, chocolate powder toooo. Lol

This is genius!!! My husband is Japanese and loves the curry cubes! I don't like buying them because they are so high in sodium. This way I can control it and have it handy all the time!!! ❤❤❤

I can't believe in all my years of making Japanese curry from scratch I've never thought of making a big batch to just store. Do you realize how much time you've just saved me?

Great stuff as always! Would you say that 1 of the self-made cubes more or less equals one cube of the store bought ones, or is more/less needed in comparison? I suppose this recipe is also closest to the "mild" variety? 🙂 Thanks!

I can tell you worked especially hard to make this recipe! Will definitely give it a go. This is such an amazing alternative to the store-bought curry cubes!! They usually have palm oil which is super destructive 🙁
