I have two Instant Pot duos – a 3 qt and a 6 qt. The Lux models were not an option on the German or British Amazon. (I’m living in Denmark) I use two functions: the pressure cooking and the steaming. They are all one needs for making everything imaginable. Oh, and I use the delay function so I wake up to hot oatmeal or come home to a hot meal.
This is a glorified rice cooker. I thought white people hate rice and everything made in China. So don't buy it if you are white and hate China. hahahahahah
Wow! Thanks sooo much. I just picked up several lux models on a crazy deal. This is before I realize there were so many different varieties. So the fact that this is the bottom level had me pretty concerned. Your video explained that The lux is definitely not an inferior model. Compared to what was offered just a few years ago the luxe is luxury!
I’m single but I wanted the 8qt lux, I love to cook 3-5lbs of frozen chicken breast at one time. I then shred it and it last over a week in a vacuum sealed container. I also like to make large soup or dishes and then I freeze them in freezer meal containers for lunch or dinner for an entire month. I use my IP so much I just leave it out on the counter next to my air fryer oven. I just subscribed to your channel, I like how clear everything is to understand. I have 4 sisters so I am 5 of 5! If only mom had had 2 more sisters instead of brothers, I’d have out sistered you!!! But brothers are pretty cool too. I bet your family get togethers are as wild and funny as ours are!!! Thanks for this … I have had my 6 qt LUX for 3 weeks … in the box … I haven't taken it out because it doesn't have the same buttons as my daughter's. I am a vegan so I will never use the yogurt button … and now I understand the "manual" button … I am ready to open the box !!! Woohoo !!!

Help! I had the IP Duo 6 quart. I loved it and I used it often. I gave it to my son and his fiancé because I was given the 6-quart Duo Plus. I’m so very unhappy with it. It either burns everything or shuts itself off. Am I doing something wrong?
