    Recipe:
1/2 C Organic Steel Cut Oats
    1 1/4 C filtered water
20 minutes Pressure, 8+ hours delay
Add your oats, water, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla (to taste).
Close the lid and make sure the vent knob is pointing to the back (pressure).
Push the Pressure button and set the time for 20 minutes
Push the delay button and set the time for at least 8 hours.
In the morning, after the pressure pin drops, open, add toppings of your choice and enjoy!

Looks yummy – caution though – I did oat meal once like this – was not mindful of the cook time … or expansion properties of oats and ended up spattered on neck and hands with 2nd degree burn.

I never measure anything for any recipe, just seeking a balance is good enough. You need a lot more water for the steel cut oats but the result is much better. Joni I bought an Instant Pot after seeing you use it in these videos. The 3 Qt version you have is perfect for an RV kitchen, I picked up tje 6 qt version in case I ever need to make a larger amount for more people.

Oh my gosh, i have owned an instant pot for years and never knew that I could put my lid in the handle like that. Thanks for the tip! I have been having problems with my vent though and it is bumming me out. Maybe it is operator error. But I don’t think so.

Hi! Just joined your channel after viewing your interview with Kyle & Olivia from Drivin & Vibin. So glad to find this Instant Pot video. We travel 5-6 months a year in a 20' Airstream. We enjoy home cooking and have been contemplating an IP for travel ( all kitchen items must be worthy of their space in a tiny home on wheels ). We primarily camp in state/Provincial, national parks and forests usually without hookups. Although we have propane stove, inverter (only 1000 watt), and small quiet generator, just was not sure an electric appliance would work for us. The 3 qt. mini IP with smaller footprint might be an option. Thanks!

I saw a pressure cooker at the thrift store…..
    I have never used one…
Question… you Said that the top nozzle should be turned to the back….
But, does it suppose to lock into place and does it suppose to fill loose,?
