I know this recipe is a bit older, Jill, but wow! i was worried these wouldn't be flavorful enough, as I'm not usually a lentil lover. I'll definitely make it again! i air fried potato wedges, but would also enjoy it with steamed potato rounds, like you showed in the video where Maggie made this meal.

This looks soooo good. I'm using bottled BBQ sauce. Potatoes are red, diced, and cooked on the stove in my Scan Pan saute pan (worth every penny). I don't have several ingredients, or a silicone mat (yet) or a second jelly roll pan. But I can improvise good recipes for my situation.

I use tomato, garlic and onion for the sauté feature . Then put 1 lb a lentils with 6 cups of water. Then put it for 10 minutes and quick release. The lentils has no taste and feels a little burnt. What am I doing wrong

This is AWEsome!! I kinda made it before, but I was super tired and used jarred BBQ sauce. Do not do that! This is the bomb!! I'm gonna triple it next time…my carnivore hubby couldn't believe there's no meat! My only change was using a large onion. I just love those chunks in this. And the spud wedges are beyond delish. I did take my second cookie sheet off, flip my wedgies and cook another 10-ish minutes. Jill, you are fantastic! Thank you for this delicious awesomness!!

I made these for my family when my brother in law and sister were coming over. He loved them and he told me later that he usually hates lentils. I love this recipe it is so good and perfect for the summer months.

This recipe is different then your cook book. I followed the book recipe. I felt like I should have drained the water from the instant pot before adding the ketchup etc..was very liquidy 🙁

I watched Forks Over Knives and that's what finally gave me the extra push to go plant based. This was 2 years ago, when I was 52. I didn't want to end up with heart disease like on at only 60. Didn't want to have to go through surgery like she had to go through twice. Thanks for your instant pot recipes, they are a big help and so easy!

Well we bought all of the ingredients except we could only find regular brown lentils and the original liquid smoke (not pecan). But planning on trying this soon and looking forward to tasting the results!
