Please see the following temperatures to help cook your steaks to your liking. If you don’t like A1 on your steak, feel free to skip it. Just use your favorite spices.
AIR FRYER Temperature:  Set air fryer at 400ºF OR 200ºC
    INTERNAL STEAK Temperature:
    Rare: 120°F – 130°F | 48°C – 54°C
    Medium Rare: 130°F – 140°F | 54°C – 60°C
    Medium: 140°F – 150°F | 60°C – 65°C
    Medium Well: 150° – 160° | 65 °C – 71°C
    Well Done: 160°F – 170°F | 71 °C – 76°C

Why is this better than the pan fry or BBQ method? Seems a lot more tedious and you end up with a messy air fryer to clean up. Thumbs down!

Thank you so much for showing me how to use an air fryer to cook steak! Never knew it was possible – always thought either the grill, the oven or the stove top cooked delicious steaks. Thanks to your channel, I now know how to do this! : ) Will highly recommend this channel to others!

Well done Rose! Ha, no pun intended. I appreciate you providing instructions for medium rare to medium. that said, while the longer time produced a more done steak, the magic of convection/air frying is the steak is juicy.

Because my steaks are usually frozen, I tend to sous vide them anymore, then quick sear them. Yet your technique is very intriguing. I’ll likely modify it for my air fryer and preferred doneness, but isn’t that what cooking is all about? It’s not baking. Cooking is a matter of desired taste and texture.

Btw, forget about answering the ninny’s. It’s a waste of your valuable time. As much as we all want to, we can’t fix stupid.

Again Rose, great job and thank you for your hard work.

Unfortunately even though you can cook the inside properly, there is no sear. The color of the steaks in this video is “created” by the application of A1 Steak Sauce beforehand. A good tip is to use your air fryer to reverse sear the steak, which is set it to a lower temperature to bring the steaks up to just about 10 degrees below your target temperature, then do a quick sear on the stove to get that nice crust.

Cooking a steak in a air fryer is not what I would do. Your steak is over cook snd has no char but if that’s what you like go for it. It seem like someone who is clueless on how to cook would do.

You've gotten a sub from me for a couple of reasons. 1. I like rib eyes and after I move in a few months, I've been planning to get the air fryer and slow cooker items, so I will make it like you did. Right now I'm doing it on the stove in a skillet; still good, but I have to watch it or else it gets overcooked.
    2. You didn't play any music over your narration. (the music between shots is fine). So many YT hosts think background music over their narration is a good idea. It is not. It distracts and depending on the audio mix, just makes it that much tougher to hear the host. (I find myself muting them and using the cc [but it's not a perfect solution]).
    3. I hadn't thought about the difference between a spritzer vs the aerosol spray. Thanks.
    4. You've reminded me I need the brush, as I end up spreading the avocado oil on my steaks with my fingers.

I have marked this video as 'watch later' and 'good stuff.'

This looks superb!! I just wanted to ask, how many minutes i need to cook for Well Done on each side? You have mentioned the temperature but not the cooking time for it. 🙂 I am very new to Air Fryer, so please guide even if my question is silly! 😀 Thanks.
