Looks more like “eggless salad” as opposed to “tuna.” Yum!!!
Gonna show this to my mom because she made a disaster of mayonnaise last time.
That looks delicious but that’s some serious amount of oil
Wow. Thats a lot of oil! I'm in weight loss mode, so I'll stick to using homemade soy yogurt as my mayo replacement. Love all your recipes and videos 😁 I would process the chickpeas until flaky, but hand chop the veggies and mix by hand for rougher texture. I never cared for super soupy sloppy tuna. I guess if its a dip, soupy is ok.
Tried to make this mayo this morning, alas, it didn't work at all and went into the garbage, what a waste, I must have done something wrong, or my blender isn't good enough…This evening I tried it with soycream, it worked out fine.
Can I make oil free mayo
I would love to learn an oil free recipe if you ever make one. My body started rejecting oils all together just as it is rejecting meats and dairy. The body knows exactly what shouldn't be there and oils is one of them. So by far I made a mayo by using chickpeas, Aquafaba Dijon mustard, salt and apple cider vinegar. It tastes amazing only thing is it's not fluffy and thick so I use it as dressing. If anyone has any suggestions to how to thicken my oil free mayo method please comment under my post. Thank you!
That was a lot of oil.
So this is the first recipe of yours I have tried and I am obsessed! This is my new favorite recipe! I can’t wait to make it for friends and pass along this deliciousness. Thank you so much! Looking forward to the next one.
Have you considered getting into Middle Eastern and Indian cooking? My birthday is in a few days and I'm doing a Middle Eastern feast: Tabbouleh, Foule, Baba Ghanoush, Hummus, and olives served with fresh pita and bread.
That really is a large quantity in the end. You can always just use a little less of the aquafaba, lemon, Dijon and chickpeas. Better to waste a little bit of aquafaba than to waste all that oil if you end up not using the mayonnaise. Thank you for the tip about running the Vitamix on medium low so it doesn't separate the next day. I absolutely love your channel. You are very talented.
I am well. Lay ho ma?
Honestly chick peas are the best.
love your channel been subscribed for months under my personal account, can we please tell others about your channel for our honoring AAPI month ,, on our new Let's Eat You tube channel
i like your very original style of vids n speech pattern.. pan. plate.. bowl.. good stuff. very talented. keep em coming!!
His hand must be paining while holding the oil bottle for so much longer
This dish is definitely expensive with avocado oil XD
I improvised your recipe, used cooked lentils cause I was out of (chickpeas), used Vegan Mayo cause I was lazy. It was absolutely delicious, put on rice cakes. Luv, your recipes & channel 😎
Very cool! Never thought to add soy sauce & toasted sesame oil. Thanks for sharing this with us!
I wouldn’t use it with crackers.
Too much contrast between soft chickpea mass and very hard crackers.
Better -is white or wholemeal bread/halves of buns/rolls, toasted bread.
Thanks,, best cooking channel no faffing around or blah, blah, you get to the recipe and do it like you teaching adults and not children,,,, so thank
Ok,,,,, did we need to watch a blender blending for all that time???????
Warm regards

Very good
Wow, those 3,5 minutes of pouring oil in the blender is already an classic!
What’s your blender’s brand?
I wish more vegans understood how bad oil is for us. I think that figuring out how to not use oil makes you a better vegan chef. PS: This is a ridiculous amount of oil!
What a pour, my god
Thank you. Can't wait to try the chickpea tuna. 🌟⭐⭐⭐ 🌟
All of your recipes are so delicious, and so beautifully presented!!
Love your work- two excellent recipes! I know you used a whole bottle of healthy avacado oil to make the mayo thick, just like they do for conventional mayo, but if you can get to a health food or gourmet shop you can purchase some guar gum powder or xanthan gum powder and save some of your expensive oil by replacing at least a quarter of it with a pinch of guar gum to help quickly thicken and emulsify and at the same time prevent separation. Guar gum is a minimally processed powder that is procured directly from the bean. I'm looking forward to yout next recipe videos 😊
This sound great when you feel tired of Hummus : )
I like this recipe and thank you for showing how to make vegan mayo but why do you call it chick pea tuna?🤔Tuna is a fish and this is a vegan channel.😂
Amazing as always 😇
You can make “tuna” salad using jackfruit 😋
THAT is a lot of mayo for one person. How can I modify the mayo recipe to a much smaller portion that can last me for awhile?
Love chickpeas definitely gonna try this also check out 2 great YouTube channels sumtv and 3abn
Why is it called a "tuna" recipe when tuna fish aren't included as an actual ingredient?
I love your instructions and calming way you do your videos. Was disappointed because I thought it was going to be ‘oil free’. Oh well. I’ll try it with my cashew cream mayo.
Woww tq for the recipe
Look great, the only thing it worries me is the amount of oil it takes, will try to make this recipe, but will cheat on the mayonnaise part.
I always add smoked dulse to give it a taste of the ocean
