I was wondering if it would be easier etc to just boil potatoes or does baking, have a different flavor?
That’s my biggest complaint with these celebrities chefs recipes, save soo much and MIX everything in a bowl, lol
I’ve made this since my kids were little, and my youngest is almost 40! The only difference is that I add green onions to it.
Buffy clip! The highlight for me 🥰
Your tomatoes from your garden look so,so nice and delicious, everything from your garden looks so good, great job on everything and thank you for including your family!!!
Sugar, I been a cook professionally 56 yrs,,,personally, I think her cooking is half a,,,. Just my oppinions
Try Trisha Yearwood's broccoli rice casserole it is amazing.
I love sour cream!!!!!
Question… how do you precook your chicken breasts for recipes like this? I always wonder… do you boil them? Bake them? 🤷🏼♀️
Black Eyed Peas was the spot for Sunday dinner when I was pregnant with my 1st child! It was something about their meat loaf and the mashed potatoes with the skin that just made my baby happy! And to this day, my baby loves mashed potatoes and meat loaf! Lol
I hate to tell you this but I think you and Ree look alike.
Oh my God that first cacerole is a bomb of fat, it is going to kill people
I feel like the term 'casserole' is such a loose term for baking random foods – like thoae are clearly just mashed potatoes, no? 😁
I can’t wait to try these! I have a cheesy tater tot casserole that I make every year for an event we go to and the dish is always basically licked clean (not actually licked but it’s GONE LOL). It’s gotten to the point where when I make it for that specific event I make two foil pans full instead of just one. My best friend’s mom worked at an elementary school and came home with a bunch of tater tots one day so they didn’t get trashed and she just made up the recipe on the spot by using what she had. I tried it, fell in love and now make it often. It’s fantastic and I always get hounded for the recipe when I make it for people.
I saw someone else make the twice baked potato casserole and before serving they sprinkled some chives on top for a little freshness. I wonder if you could mix on broccoli to cut what I’m assuming is probably very rich flavors.
I have veganized all of these recipes … if you're low on time, you could buy all of the veggies pre-cut … somehow I don't see these dishes as coming from a pioneer woman though. My grandmother was one and though her food was great, it lacked the 'worldly' flare.
Also, green onions really make a difference in that noodle bake I notice you left them out. I am a non onion eater so I use the greens only.
I can tell you about the layers vs mixing especially with the noodle bake. You have several different flavor bites vs one cohesive flavor that is the same every bite. I like the layering better. I heard read why she did this.
Do you remember the boot give aways? I always thought I was going to win even though it was like 50k people trying 😂
She made a lot more potatoes that is why their were a lot more ingredients.
I made the first casserole with half a stick of melted butter and it was perfect.
OMG, Pioneer Woman is the Paula Deen of cheese.
For the potato casserole, I would probably buy frozen cubed hash brown potatoes to save time; just boil, drain, and mash. And yes, you can always add salt/butter later, but you can't take them out. Great video! 🙂
That's a LOT of dairy. Holy crap!! How is that a SIDE DISH??? How do you think it would have tasted with ALL the butter in it?
You have less potatoes than her
I never heard of pioneer women until today. Something new to try this weekend. Thanks
