My favorite cheap meals are broccoli and pasta with parm and cheese if I have it. Baked potatoes and broccoli. Meatless chili, meatless spaghetti. I use lentils in my chili along with a variety of beans and seasoned tomatoes, stewed tomatoes and green chili tomatoes with seasonings. I also make pasta with stewed tomatoes. Also, bean soup with potatoes and tomatoes. And I love homemade refried beans with veggies and rice. Also bean burgers are delish and lentil burgers are good to. I only eat meat once or twice a week. I very rarely eat out.

My doctor told me I need to get my prescriptions tablets in double strength and they will be cheaper and you just break them in half when you get them and it saves you money. It was like getting the other 30 days free for me. It just depends on the medication.

Texmex enchiladas are always made w corn tortillas. When we traveled out of state and someone served me enchiladas with flour tortillas I found them to be soggy. Swiss cheese is good on enchiladas Verde. There is a dish called enchiladas suisas. They are chicken enchiladas with Verde sauce and swiss cheese. Very tasty.

I never had enchiladas but after watching your video I made them tonight. I used cheddar cheese, dollop of sour cream, refried beans, chopped onion and tomato sauce (Irish pallets don't always enjoy spicy). Well, they came out great! Soothing to the gut too. Then as I'm crowing about it on FB, I opened my Gluten Free Dining on a Dime cookbook and saw the picture. 😒 Mine did not look like that. 🤣

Adding a few bay leaf into your container will help minimize your risk of bugs in dry ingredients. Bay leaf suffocates the larvae & bugs. It will not flavor your food. Put it in grains, flour, sugar, seeds, etc.

    Great tips.
Due to health issues, I have had to change my way of eating.
Currently I can handle the equivalent of one meal a day.
Not only has this stretched my preps, I have lost enough weight so people won't think I have more than they do should the poop hit the blades.

The nation’s largest bank said Wednesday that it’s starting to get worried about inflation, warning that the hot pace of price increases could last through 2022.

In an earnings call Wednesday morning, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) CEO Jamie Dimon told analysts and investors that year-over-year inflationary readings under 4% are “unlikely” over the next six months.

“We prepare for probabilities and eventualities,” Dimon said. “And one of those probabilities is that [inflation] might go higher than people think.”
