I saw on a recent a news clip that Sportscaster aster Al Michaels, age 78, has never eaten a vegetable in his life. He looks fantastic . He said, “Just give me a big, juicy steak.”

Cpl G rfd, Chief! As you know I am not the perfect carnivore but I have achieved excellent results. This meatup got me thinking, why don't I beat myself up about not being perfect? The answer is that when I set off on my health journey in March 2023, I'd never even heard of carnivore. My greatest weight loss of 50 lbs and reversal of T2D was achieved without even having realised the low-carb community existed on YouTube. For the first five months, I was largely on my own, but I have to give credit to The Hairy Bikers (TV chefs) and Prof Roy Taylor. In 2010, they showed the world that T2D is reversible. Then, when diagnosed, nurse Kath taught me that ALL carbs turn to glucose in the bloodstream. Then, my workmate, Max, introduced me to keto at fewer than 50g of carbs per day. After that, all I had was google and an analytic mindset. I stumbled my way through, making mistake after mistake. By August 4th I was brave enough for a second set of bloods. All clear on all fronts. So I actually achieved my goals on very amateurish keto. I then discovered YouTube. Dr Sarah Hallberg, Dr Berry and Kelly Hogan (together), then Dr Chaffee and Dr Unwin. I never said I was going carnivore. I kind of just realised that I was. Our brother Shawn has the callsign "Intentional Carnivore". If ever I have a YouTube callsign it should be "Accidental Carnivore". The serious message here is that you can achieve excellence even on dirty keto. So if you are achieving excellence but not perfection, but are suffering guilt and shame – STOP! Be proud of your achievements and DO NOT BEAT YOURSELF UP! ❤ and support to you all, Cpl G, out! 💪

What I try to do is to buy ground beef when it's 50% off, this happens here somtimes in Netherlands. I bulk up massively and put it in the freezer.
The eggs I buy are little cheaper here because I buy them from my local farm instead of the supermarket.
I'm not counting how much I pay tho because I'm the only one that does this diet at home. But I'm 100% sure I pay way less money on food then my wife/kids because they eat all those sugar/carbs/junkfood!
There is a little possitive news: my son eats way less sweets/sugars nowadays, but hey he is a kid so it's hard to not to get seduced by all those ''food''

So I worked out your Meal plan based on prices in Sydney, Australia $165 USD to AUD is $259.42 and the shopping list for the month came to $239.60 AUD shopping at Costco Aus. Surprised that it’s cheaper in Aus 😮
