Liked the idea of dumping the oil after each fry. On similar things I've fried, by the second or third sets, even adding additional oil, the oil is dark and doesn't cook or taste clean….

This version of the Boogaloo Wonderland is not the original. The original was made with ground pork and Swiss cheese. The cheese can be broiled first then place the meat on the toasted bread. This is so the sauce can be added with extra onions. My fiance is 60 and remembers it fondly (im younger and dont remember this at all). Chef Greg's is nice, but it is far from the original. It is delicious with American cheese but definitely try it with the ground pork, it gives it a different flavor profile than your typical sloppy joe.

For anyone who wants to make pork tenderloin sandwiches at home but don’t want to/don’t have time to make from scratch—- Trader Joe’s makes a frozen pork schnitzel that makes a passable alternative—- they’re not as big as the homemade, but not terrible, and they fry up in a few minutes.

I used the mayo and egg wash to bread a cube steak. Flour, mayo & egg, panko works great! I even added Montreal Steak seasoning to the flour and the egg mixture. The combo makes a great sandwich. I also used it on fish filets with cajun seasoning which was also stunning. No more egg wash without mayo for this guy.

I have to agree with some of your other viewers. In my 77 years living in Iowa since birth I have NEVER heard then called anything but a Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. Where you get these weird nicknames from I have no idea.

the eggs browned like that goes against my culinary grain….honestly that seems like the most disgusting thing i've ever seen. i'm going to try it.

Don't know who you talked to, but nobody from Iowa calls it a "skinny."
We just call them tenderloin sandwiches. Everything else about what you did seems okay and these are pretty popular in Iowa, but nobody calls them a "skinny."
