Just a note to say I just found your website & it is very well written and easy to navigate. I am in the US, and am just learning to navigate Indian food in an odd, roundabout way. My boyfriend and I recently decided to eat primarily vegetarian and we discovered a nearby convenience store had a lot of Indian groceries, mostly pre-packaged stuff, so I am trying this stuff and then looking up recipes to not only learn how to make it on my own (and thankfully a nearby community has a large Indian grocer), but more about where it originated, how it would be served etc. Your site does a good job explaining as such and know it is greatly appreciated. I have subscribed here as well.

Oh man, when I was a kid we had a huge bush of these in our garden. They were phenomenal in rice dishes but also just boiled in salted water and eaten plain. This brings back memories! Do you know where I could get these kinds of seeds to grow? Thanks Bhavna! Oops, sorry! Just found some on Amazon, the place to go for anything!
