I fast 16 hours a day and run 10 to 20 miles a day in Texas heat. I feel fine. I do however take LMNT before and during the running. I’m not tired afterwards. I think the body will continue to produce glycogen that I need.

My grandson was jumping up and down with excitement when he say you eating the bugs! We sent you bugs last year and he asks frequently to see video of you eating them. So when I saw you bring this bag out whether it be our bag or not lol, I instantly said they are eating them!! Haha
You just made his day!! Loved the video of the beautiful scenic gardens as well! Have a great day!!

I did a tasting of Wright’s bacon compared to the low sodium Kirkland bacon from Costco and I loved the Wright’s. I’ve been buying kirklamd’s low sodium for months and I am not going back to it. The Wright’s cooked up so thick and tasty in my air fryer. It took a couple of minutes longer but it was worth waiting for. I cook my bacon a pound at a time and have it cooked and frozen It re-heats quickly and well and I love the convenience of having it already cooked. Once every 2 weeks I do this. So easy,
What a beautiful botanical garden! Last time we were in FL (Siesta Key where my hubby’s family lives) we went to Shelby Gardens (we went every other year when we did road trips to FL). If you are ever in the Sarasota area you must go there. It is just gorgeous. I think they have an area that is Japanese inspired.
That bottom roast looks amazing. My bbq grill is broken and I’ve been wanting to repair it for 2 years now. When I retire (in 2-3 years) I am going to gift myself a Komodo Joe. I’ve been wanting one for years now. I don’t have the time in my days to cook low and slow right now. I have a gold series Weber charcoal grill but, as I said, it is broken. Parts of it have burnt off because I was not a really good owner and I ignored it when it was cooling off. I do all my “grilling” on my cast iron grill pan right now. I want bbq i have to go to the smoke guy on Route 31 – only open Th-Sat.
My hubby has never seen any Star Wars or Indiana Jones movies! Can you believe it?? He said it just isn’t for him. Geez…we’ve been married for over 30 years. Now almost 33 years actually. How can I marry a man who has never seen either??? Saying that, I have not seen the last Star Wars or the last Jurassic Park either. I do not like going to the movies anymore, it isn’t as enjoyable as it was years ago. I have to wait for it to hit cable and now with the streaming we don’t have Disney+ so I can’t see Star Wars and I can’t see Jiurassic Park because we don’t have Paramount +. I’ll have to wait for HBO to have the Jurassic Park.
I finally tasted Celsius – Costco is selling 15 pk for $19.99. I decided to buy it and that makes it 1.31 a piece. Can’t beat that. They give you 3 flavors – berry, orange and strawberry kiwi. Nw I want to try other flavors. Thanks for the drink suggestion!! I could become addicted very easily. I’ve been using it as an ingredient in drinks too.

I can't remember ever seeing anything but the first Jurassic Park, and probably Star Wars only the first two. Bottom roast looked yummy. I made roast this week, but mine was MEH~ I put mine in the instant pot.

LOL! I’ve never seen Jurassic Park or any Star Wars. I never thought about it I guess I’m in the minority. And Rachael you can keep the bugs (just the thought) 🤢

Y'all are so cute … Rachel smelling Joe after grilling out. LOL

Also … I was just having a convo w/ a friend that I've never seen Jurassic Park – or any of the series. And it came out when I was in high school/college. But I might finally watch them. LOL

I'm curious to hear how this no electronics after dark is working out. That would be challenging for me because I read a lot after dark and I've migrated to Kindle. Does the no electronics after dark include the radio? And living alone, board games is not an option.
