Lovely. Although what was the need to add salt to the cheeses sauce, parmesan has loads of salt in it already? No need at all, I'm sure it'd still taste great without it.

You should let the lasagna rest at least hafl an hour after taking it out of the oven. If not it will be a complete mess, just like we see on this video.

I made that thing and it tasted real good. The only downside was, the underside was a bit dark. Anyone know how I could change this? Cover the baking tray in some butter first?

So it's basically how i make mine, i married into a sicilian family just a country boy from Australia, now if you cook some beef mince with some lamb stew bones like neck or other off cuts with say 1kg beef mince to 500gm lamb meat for 4 hrs in a nice home made sauce then before layering break down the lamb meat and remove bones it doesn't get much better, use your favourite tomato jars and paste or make a batch from whizzing some roma toms, fresh basil, dried parsley flakes, 4 garlic cloves, tsp salt, 3 bay leaves little cracked pepper yummo, before removing the sauce stir in 2 to 3 pinches raw sugar don't add too early it may cause sticking to pan or pot i use a large oan to make it, also when making the beschemel sometimes before adding milk I'll heat it in a separate pot add chopped onion, whole pepper seed or corn whatever you want to call it pinch salt and simmer without separation for 10 mins strain out the onion then add the cooked butter flour it really adds alot of yummy flavour the rest is just as he said, buon appetite.

I don't know why making that in poor bessamel.. never put the milk in once and never cook it for 10 min. Just add the milk in 10 doses wait to evaporate the milk before put the next dose and done. And never fresh mozzarella to cook it in oven for 45 -1 hour

The beschamel white sauce goes so well together with the ragu…this is better than an all tomato sauce lasagne
