I'm going to use this recipe, but I'm not boiling canned peaches – just the juice. Once the thickened juice cools I'll stir in the peaches, etc.

When I make a thickener I usually put my corn starch in a cup of hot water and stir it until smooth and then pure it into the cobbler that avoid those powder balls in the cobbler
