Making some today! ❤️💕
wow
I would love to try this. I'm taking meds for high blood pressure so I'm not sure about the sodium content. Disappointed that I might not be able to enjoy those pickled green beans, but I can enjoy them by steaming them just enough so they still have some crunch. Thanks or sharing.
Wow, so easy! I have a ceramic pickling vat, I'd bet it would work well for this type of pickling. Cool dark place is the hard part – the coolest part of our kitchen approaches 80 at this time of year even with the a/c blasting.
How did they taste compared to mom's?
Love this, I’m in the UK and very new to anything canning and fermenting. I would love to see more of this kind of thing 🥰
My mother loved her pickled stuff. She did beets and then used the juice to pickle hard-boiled eggs.
Thanks for sharing. As a city girl I've never canned or fermented anything. You have made this so easy that I think I may give this a try. Can this same technique be used with other veggies or beets? Be well.
Are they stringless green beans? Do you have to pull the strings when you cap them?
Looks very good, Nili!!! Yum!!!
TY Nili! Great idea to make green beans with potatoes cooked in a tomato sauce That's a Greek dish called fasolakia me patates se saltsa ntomates.. My mom used to make that a lot when I was growing up in NYC Stay safe!
Never heard of pickled Green Beans….I like Green beans cooked liked my Mother did…DONE…
Thanks for this idea for green beans. I love pickled veggies. I’m going to have to give these a try.
Nothing better than eating and canning your own grown veggies. Canning just makes your pantry shelves look beautiful.
I like the idea of your mom’s ready-to-eat kind😋 (I’m a little impatient😉)
