Tammy I like my ground beef chopped up to. I love these pots of cabbage and other stuff, but I always eat to much of it at one time. I most certainly would be freezing some of this.

I searched and searched and finally found this delicious twist on a cabbage casserole. It’s in the oven now. I added a couple touches of my own and it’s scrumptious. Love your recipes 😊

I have this in the oven as we speak!!! I’m so excited! My husband will not touch anything with mushrooms of any sort. So, we skipped the mushrooms and added cream of chicken. I also added some bacon. If it’s as good when it comes out of the oven as it was before I’m going to LOVE it!!!

Thank you for a fabulous recipe!! It makes a ton so I split this between two casseroles and gifted one. This is now my hubby's favorite casserole!! I really want to try it with Italian seasoning once, but even the teenager loves it with the cajun.

Even though the ground sirloin is lean, they almost always add water to bump up the weight. Read the label. Was it really spicy? 3 Tbsp. sounds like a lot of Cajun seasoning! I'll bet it would be good with rice, too.

When I make this dish do you suggest melting butter to coat the top of the bread crumbs? It looks delicious but you mentioned that you didn’t add liquids at the end for the finishing I think due to the raw mushrooms…you also explained you were avoiding a cheese topping…but in the video you mentioned it might be a bit too dry before you baked it…then when it was plated you didn’t tell us how you felt about adding liquids or not adding liquids. I’m curious…what was your final opinion?
