This roast was made in my Instant Pot. The roast was very tender and made a quick complete meal with potatoes, carrot and onions. Thanks for watching.

Hahahaha! When your beautiful dogs started barking, it scared my little dog and she came running to me to get me to hold her and save her from the dogs! It did sorta sound like there were dogs in my house as opposed to the sounds that usually come from my computer, so I can understand why she high-tailed it to my chair so quickly! She's in my lap and happy as a clam now. Mama saved her again! LOL.

Would love to see more Instant Pot recipes. Especially chicken ones.

I've used electric pressure cookers for many years now. I've been told from the beginning for meats to always allow for a natural release. Quick release can cause the liquids from the meat to bubble out as the pressure rapidly equalizes. I'm guessing this is true, but I've never done a quick release on meat to see if there is a difference, but it makes sense.

PS — about the pot lid not wanting to twist back on after releasing the steam (when you released the steam on your pot roast and then adding veggies to pot), I have found that too much steam is still leaving the pot and there must be some sort of sensor that indicates that steam is still remaining in the pot even though the lid is open. You might want a few minutes before tryiing to seal the pot….I think you'll find it a bit easier.

My husband loves to use my liquid from the pot to cook more potatoes for the next day….he is a potato lover. If you will hold down the timer button it will go up or down quickly without having to hit the button over and over. I left some tips about your Instant Pot on the other ribs video that you posted.
