Ensoniq (mentioned when talking about the Panther) was a company formed from ex-MOS Technology employees like Bob Yannes, who made the C64s SID chip.
I came here for the Atari ramblings of Rees. 😃👍
"Dungeon Master sold 40,000 copies in its year of release alone, and went on to become the ST's best-selling game of all time. The game became the prototype for the genre of the 3D dungeon crawlers…" LOVED that game.
Thanks for having me on, I had a lot of fun. Always happy to chat all things Atari 😁
I miss the Friday night Blockbuster visit to choose a random movie and a playstation game to copy
Owned an ST and STE. Now use an Amiga emulator. I feel guilty.
Happy days, earphones are in… heres to a great 1 hour 39 minutes 😇🕹👌
Club Drive was utterly awful and not even a good showing as a basic 3D tech demo. One of the "games" that killed the Jaguar.
Cybermorph, Iron Soldier were superior displays of polygon graphics and even decent games!
Your infos about the Panther are mostly incorect as the rumours surrounding this system were debunked. Games development was never started and work on the system was stopped in favour of the Jaguar. None of the launch Jaguar games were based on Panther software.
Iz ma boi Rees Innit! That's well wicked!
