I will have to do this. I would add some ground beef or left over shopped up beef or chicken. I would place on parchment paper on a tray into the freezer so they don't stick together. Or wrap in foil to take to the office so I can finish in the toaster oven after microwave.

You gave me so many ideas for freezing burritos. Hubby would have to have beef burrito. He thinks he doesn't like refried looking beans. Lol. I'm thinking a sausage egg and cheese breakfast burrito would be good too. Thanks Jeni

I didn't know the salt made the beans cook uneven. I have always dumped my salt in before cooking. Now I know why they always have a few tough ones left. You learn something new everyday. 🙂 I haven't made freezer burritos in a while. I need to make some! Thanks for the reminder. I like to add taco meat to some as well. Makes for good lunches at work.

I used to make these, but I did 2 things differently. First, using canned refried beans I spread them over the entire tortilla. I would add meat and cheese but I also added salsa. It was really, really good.

I would like be to make these. If you can answer some questions for me. How long would I cook them if I don’t have a quick pot? Do you defrost them first! How long! How long in the microwave? Thanks.
