You missed the cheese. They didn't use queso fresco, they used… I think it was ricotta? Something weird that totally didn't work.
Candy is less about inbreeding and more about controlled temperature. It's true that corn syrup, (or really, any syrup), can help stabilize your ending crystal structure, but it's not necessary. If you'd have added a little more water to the plain sugar caramel to compensate for the extra heating time, you'd have had a more consistent crystal structure, and therefore no lumps. Corn syrup does make that effort a lot easier though.
The different accents really added to this episode đđ
I'm waiting for Gordon Ramsay to appear on Last Meals.
Perfect Too Many Cooks reference.
I always come back because I always think "ok, maybe this time they don't ruin everything with the loudest possible obnoxious frat boy bro crap", and they always manage to disappoint.
It even went beyond Josh's threshold for loud and obnoxious. If there is too much loud frat stuff going on for Josh's saswĆ”
Pizza and cannolis? Did they just run out of Mexican dishes to make? I didn't see this episode of GBBO but it seems bonkers.
I'd say a rube goldberg machine is science adjacent.
I love how Nicole and Josh were screaming in the intro
The raccoon presentation was giving Charlie Day
Why are you making me relive Mexican week? đ
OK please please make some cereal oreos!!! Like apple Jack's!!! And potato chip shaped cereal bites!!! You can totally dip them in milk!!
I am so glad every time I see the sitcom opening LMAO
Were they using wine in the GBBS? The recipes I've seen are an either or not both
So the moral of the story is : just like Hollywood doesnât understand making movies anymore. âHollywoodâ also doesnât know cooking.
Josh getting annoyed about the plural for Cannoli yet probably says Legos instead of Lego.
Lmfaoooooo why did lily do a completely southern accent
I genuinely just donât respect Paul Hollywood in any capacity (for no good reason, just rubs me the wrong way), so the fact that he was wrong at least twice absolutely vindicates me
Just make Dulce De Leche if you want Caramel. It's way better.
Josh talking about Task Racoon sounded like I was watching rick and morty doing another interdimensional cable episode
This channel is my favorite cooking content
A more hydrated dough will make a larger, more irregular crumb on baking, but takes a lot more heat to get it to do it. Think you'd have had different results if it was baked on a stone
It feels a little hypocritical to just dunk on the UK show for not knowing the specifics of Mexican cuisine, when Americans are notorious for not respecting the culture of other countries and their food. I love this format of mythical kitchen, but this episode wasn't my favorite.
its pretty logical that corn syrup helps, think about it, it already is a liquid at room themperature
It was rough watching Mexican food week!! So spot on!! đ my hubby is a brit and doesn't like Mexican food! I can't even imagine my life without Mexican food. Or any South American foods. I could eat it every single day. Plus, the way he says taco…like, Tack O. đ đ€Ł I can't.
We need a video comparison of V and Lily then and now, Josh taking the awkward best out of everything
Josh was giving me huge rick sanchez energy when talking about the racoons
