My daughter and I like to " thrift shop." I found a beautiful, very large crockpot today and can hardly wait to try it out. Your recipes will be perfect. I hope you're doing well and getting plenty of rest. 💝

The slow-cooker might just be the best kitchen invention….EVER!!!! As to the chicken soup? Instead of using noodles – get some baby potatoes (white, red or mixed), cut them up into quarters, and quick-fry them in a little olive oil to brown them a bit and seal them up so they don't leech starch into the soup. Then, add THOSE into the soup instead of the noodles at the start. Between that and the fresh herbs (I have an herb garden) – your family will LOVE IT!!!

Just a tip. If you plan on freezing this meal if you make a big batch (because lets face it who doesn't love left over chicken soup and having it on hand) boil your noodles on the side and then add them to your bowl w/ soup. Noodles do not freeze well. I love making my chicken soup like hers and then freezing it for later.

I don’t get it. I eat a good full meal for dinner, then 2-3 hours later, I watch your videos and my stomach growls! I stop the video, go look for a snack but nothing sounds good, so I go back to watching and my tummy growls AGAIN!! 😩 Ok, next time I’m gonna watch, WHILE I eat my dinner! Then my stomach will stop growling, or I’ll actually eat my OWN food. Problem solved!🤗
    (Grrrooowwwwlll!!!)
    Traitor-like stomach, be quiet! 😏
    (he likes your food better🙄😉😉😊)

That last one looks so good! I mean all of them do 😉 I'm going to try it with ground pork and maybe add some sweet potato in there as well for a fall dish. I appreciate your channel as I get good ideas to try to inspire me for easy meals to start cooking again.

Julia, those looked FANTASTIC!! Tomorrow I will be making the chicken noodle dish mainly because I have all the ingredients so I don't have to go to the store. I'm going to try everything else though. Thank you!! Hope you are feeling better with your pregnancy too!

It's hanging here in Idaho too! Just not fast enough – I LOVE fall! Thank you so much for your realistic recipes! Chasing a 19 month old around and reminding my 5 year old to be patient makes cooking complicated some nights!

Hi Julia! That last one with the green beans looks sooooo good. And I absolutely love crock pot meals. They are just so convenient. When we owned our motel, I made crock pot meals all the time. We would want a home cooked meal but finding the time to do it was not so easy. Crock pot to the rescue! Love these meals and no doubt will be trying them! Thanks Julia!

I will be trying several of these! I hope you’re feeling better. You are my hero. I’m 13 weeks and still get queasy sometimes trying to cook. I could never have the energy in the first trimester to cook everyday and film and edit etc. Don’t over do yourself!

Around my house my stove/over its rarely used. I rely on my slow cooker, instant pot and air fryer for almost all my dinners. Especially love the slow cooker because it smells wonderful in the house when hubby comes home from work. Going to make the creamy porkchops tonight i think. Copied all the recipes to try except the hobo dinner. I don't really like carrots but i really don't like green beans so both together yeah i can't do it lol. Im weird. I love lots of veggies but not so much on the regular ones. Thank you for sharing the recipes😘
