I took $40 out of an ATM with the goal of making as many meals as possible. I was feeding 2 adults and the only items I could use …
This is my favorite video you've made thus far. Ty for using up your food even, if you went to DG daily. Blessings!
They do have flour at the dollar store. Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar of course dt is cheapest but dg and fd isn't much more and you can make gravy and biscuits, desserts, multiple things.
I just canโt like this video enough. Itโs practical, useful, and fun. This was a great idea sweet lady! I really enjoy your content! ๐
I appreciate what you do so much. My mother is retired and lives alone. I have a husband and four kids. Your recipes are helping both of us! These are accessible for so many walks of life!
This was the first time I've ever heard anyone say that daily shopping actually can save money. It was so interesting to see how well it worked for you. It honestly does make sense for someone like me. If only the anxiety the grocery store caused me wasn't nearly as bad. It has caused me to shop every 2 weeks so I can go less lol. But again I loved this video. You are always an inspiration!
Always worth the wait! Another great video – thank you!!!!
You are so good at this. Don't stop! I had little more than 2 brown eggs and English muffins on a cabin Saturday morning this weekend. (and coffee of course) It's ok to take along 4 tablespoons of butter in a small container along….
It worked out great. Life can be simplified.
You are such a sweetheart. Thank you!
Great video! I like your creative reuse of ingredients
Rebecca, have you ever done a video that incorporates slowly building a spice/condiment pantry. Finding an extra $1.25 each week to add herbs and spices can make meals much tastier. Good job on such thoughtful videos.
This was great ! Thank you for your budgeting ideas !
Iโm so glad I found this channel! These meals are practical and donโt take a lot of time to make. I love that you keep cost in mind!
You should do $20 dinners on a Black Stone Flat top Grill
This was amazing! I really enjoy your videos and this one did not disappoint! What a great variety of meals you made with $40!
I think it all depends how close the store is ๐ค
LOve LOve your Videos IM single an cook for one an i have left over everyday
I always learn helpful tips when I watch your videos. The tomato paste can opener trick? Genius!
Iโm a widow with 3 kids and your videos are so helpful. Iโm always able to adjust amounts for what we need. Thanks for all the time you put into helping so many people!
I'm single. I have a small 'working pantry ' and tons of herbs and spices. This challenge will work well for me. Thanks โค ps the meals look good. ๐
You made some great meals out of a little bit of money !! ๐๐๐๐
Finally getting ebt and I have a fix it and forget it lightly a lot of the meals are low in salt so i'm starring everything under six hundred milligrams to make. More vegetables for me and I'll get so much healthier. Not everyone is salt sensitive but I am. Maybe I'll be less salt sensitive while i keep doing it. I am going to make the chili slow cooker recipes that were acceptable on the stove faster easier and i can control the liquid content I like my chili thick enough to eat with a fork.
Wa state tax is 9%+
Love your videos! Gave me the idea to make breakfast pizzas using dollar tree stuff. I used a tortilla, spread that taco sauce you recommend all over it, add some shredded cheese and cracked 2 eggs on top. Cooked in the oven for 13ish minutes @425. Super good!
Thanks for more great tasty dinner ideas that are inexpensive but still filling & balanced. Loved the very different meals even with repurposing some items. It really shows the difference between previous 1 trip meals. I really liked the frozen chicken breast over canned personally as well, I used canned chicken too but feel like seasoning & cooking from frozen is going to enhance meal! Thanks again for sharing!
I can't thank you enough for your work, heart, and attention to detail. My friends and I talk about your videos a lot. I thank you for all of your hard work.
Would you be able to do something similar for someone who can't eat pork, peanuts, eggs, gluten, potato or too much sour cream or cream stuff? And who hasn't got a rice cooker or slow cooker?
This was an awesome video, thank you for sharing. I don't think I could ever go to the store everyday, but I def like the idea of going more frequently. It IS overwhelming trying to plan out meals for a week or two, shop for them, and then make sure to prepare everything before something goes bad. Also as you mentioned, its good because you can recheck your inventory and have more intentional shopping when you shop more frequently. Lots of great ideas from this vid, thanks again!
I was watching your video thinking "I am so comfortable with this lady's vibes and house." Literally I thought this reminds me of a down to earth KG vibe. Then you showed the receipt for your Dollar General haul….and you are! Fantastic! I wish you the best with your channel, take care! ๐
1% tax wow
I think I might actually try that burrito bowl this week for my lunch prep. That looked legit delicious.
I love that you put so much thought into this video.
