See just how easy homemade vegan yogurt is! I used to make yogurt out of milk before I went vegan and the process was so involved that I quickly gave up on it.

No water?
Why are you saying that whey is being strained out? There is no whey in soy milk.
Love your videos! Especially BLE ❤
Lucky dog!
I only can find soya milk with vitamins add into it. Is it working ?
Have you tried this with Almond milk?
Could you do this with almond milk or cashew milk?
I don’t think the yogurt function requires the sealing. My recipe said to just put a regular lid or plate on top.
Can you use almond milk with this recipe?
If you left it in the Instant Pot for longer would it get thicker? Thanks Avril
I’m making this now. I added 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. I also am using a plant based milk called Ripple instead of soy because my liver can not handle soy. I’ll update you how it turns out. I’m excited.
Think i can do this with rice milk?
You drain whey from soy milk? I'm pretty sure whey comes from cows milk not soy.
What temperature is the yogurt setting?
this is so amazing! thanks for the video! And I was just thinking to myself and you answered right at that moment, if you don't need to boil milk can you just skip the instant pot and place in oven? I have to try this because i love yogurt but put off by cow puss (lol) and organic, ,milk alternative yogurt is so expensive. Thanks a million for a fantastic easy to make video. A question for anybody who knows; can you use other types of alt. milk like almond or coconut?
Thank you for this easy to follow video, I can’t wait to make my own yogurt!
Thank you so much for sharing your recipe and making the video!💗🙏 It is so simple and I am going to make almond yogurt in my instant pot! All the best to you!🌞💗
Does it have to be soy milk or can you use almond milk or coconut milk.?? Thanks
Question….another lady on here boil feature on the yugert..after it boils it goes into regular yugert mode …do u know why someone would hit the yugert function to boil it first?
I put 3 Cartons of soy in the stainless pot of the InstaPot with the 1 Tablespoon or more of starter (left over yogurt). I strain mine and put it into jars.
Oh my gosh! I just watch the video you posted today 7/1/19 and you look great. Well done Pam! Congratulations 🎉👍
Your video is one of the easiest to follow and your voice is modulated like an instructor or news anchor ✔️
Can you use almond milk in place of soy milk?
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING
Can I use my regular pressure cooker?
Whey = Milk Protein w/Water. You are straining the WATER used make soy milk. It probably has some protein but it's not whey.
Clear details, which are appreciated! thanks for sharing this video!
Thank you so much, Pamela! I’ve been thinking about this and thinking about this, but I think I’m really going to try it now. Thank you for your very clear tutorial. Looking forward to checking out more of your videos!
Can you use the whey to make more yogurt?
I think if you would've refrigerated it overnight, it would've come out thicker.
what is a yogurt starter?
Thank you so much!
Thank you for saying "sealing not venting" when you talked about the pressure release valve. When I first got my instant pot 5 years ago none of the videos contrasted those two words. I always thought they were saying "ceiling" and could not figure out how to make that dang knob point to my ceiling!
bummer to strain the best part out . . . that bacteria is so good for your microbiome, leave it in and eat it
This is awesome! I just got an instapot and I can’t wait to make this!!!! 😊
I'm hoping to get an instant pot after Cyber Monday! Question: does straining the yogurt remove the bacterial cultures? For someone who has benefited lots from adding probiotics to my diet, I wonder if it is not worth straining the yogurt (though I LOVE Greek style yogurt!). But there's probably still a lot of probiotics in what's left…? 😀
ooooo – yummy!! I can't wait to try this. Thank you!
I subscribed. it's time for us ladies to make the world a whole lot better!! ❤️❤️
Skip the pot put live bacteria tablet into soy milk container n leave at room temp for twenty-four hours. Wala no work yogurt.
So Happy I found you! Have you ever done this with probiotic capsules instead of yogurt as a starter?
Thank you for sharing this. I bought a Salton yogurt maker at a thrift store toda with the intention of making vegan yogurt. Are you familiar with this product. It was popular in the sixties.
Great video. I just staredmy own first batch after watching your video. Lets see how it turns out tomorrow morning.
Thanks.. well done and ready to try this recipe for my vegan kid! 🙂
Can you just put the milk into the pot and not into jars?
Awesome! I've missed making yogurt now that I'm mostly plant based. Thanks for sharing your techniques!
Great video, thanks for sharing! Have you tried this also with other non-dairy milks? Will this work the same with almond or oats milk?
Hmmm… I don't have a yogurt button….
Thank so much for the video!
I have one question, I thought whey was only in cows milk. As far as I know it's a protein in cows milk… did the base with live cultures have whey?
I LEARNED THAT TECHNIQUE FROM MIDDLE ESTERN FRIENDS -BUT IT'S CONSIDERED YOGHURT CHEESE WHEN YOU STRAIN IT FOR ABOUT 24 HRS+.
great esy video thank you!
8 minutes is not a "really quick video."
