See just how easy homemade vegan yogurt is! I used to make yogurt out of milk before I went vegan and the process was so involved that I quickly gave up on it.

I’m making this now. I added 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. I also am using a plant based milk called Ripple instead of soy because my liver can not handle soy. I’ll update you how it turns out. I’m excited.

this is so amazing! thanks for the video! And I was just thinking to myself and you answered right at that moment, if you don't need to boil milk can you just skip the instant pot and place in oven? I have to try this because i love yogurt but put off by cow puss (lol) and organic, ,milk alternative yogurt is so expensive. Thanks a million for a fantastic easy to make video. A question for anybody who knows; can you use other types of alt. milk like almond or coconut?

I put 3 Cartons of soy in the stainless pot of the InstaPot with the 1 Tablespoon or more of starter (left over yogurt). I strain mine and put it into jars.
Oh my gosh! I just watch the video you posted today 7/1/19 and you look great. Well done Pam! Congratulations 🎉👍

Thank you for saying "sealing not venting" when you talked about the pressure release valve. When I first got my instant pot 5 years ago none of the videos contrasted those two words. I always thought they were saying "ceiling" and could not figure out how to make that dang knob point to my ceiling!

I'm hoping to get an instant pot after Cyber Monday! Question: does straining the yogurt remove the bacterial cultures? For someone who has benefited lots from adding probiotics to my diet, I wonder if it is not worth straining the yogurt (though I LOVE Greek style yogurt!). But there's probably still a lot of probiotics in what's left…? 😀

Thank you for sharing this. I bought a Salton yogurt maker at a thrift store toda with the intention of making vegan yogurt. Are you familiar with this product. It was popular in the sixties.
