Can’t wait to make this recipe. I like to make pecan brittle too. This recipe should work great!
Peanut Brittle is still one of my favorites. I just have to keep in mind, to suck on it, and not to chew it. Or, I’m in big trouble.
No, the worst thing about Peanut Brittle. Is breaking, your caps, crowns, and teeth. Cha Ching🚬💸💸💸💸💸💸💸💸. At least $2,000.00💸💸💸
My husband’s favorite. I’m gonna to make some soon. Thanks for sharing.
Please remind people that hot sugar will burn you like a brimstone from hell. Please be careful!!!!!
Hello Tammy ,
Use pecans instead oh my they are so delicious
Yummy!! I didn't know it was so easy to make! I made toffee for years but now that I'm an "oldster" this recipe looks so much easier so I'm going to try it and make several batches each with a different kind of nut for Christmas gifts! Thanks Tammy!! You're the best!! Love ya!!
It's simple enough that I think I can make it!
I use to make this for my daddy, he loved it so much. He would always tell me to use less peanuts so he would have more of the candy. I wish I could make him some now. Have a blessed day. Love ya!!🤗
That looks delish tammy
Tammy can I substitute almonds?
OMG!!!!
God that looks amazing!!!
That was a hole stick of butter!
That looks so good! Wished I was skinny!
Hi Tammy, I watched this video twice, so I'm thinking I might be able to make your recipe and it turn out. lol I stop trying to make peanut brittle many years ago because it never turned out. I can make fudge and divinity, but not brittle. I'll give it one more try, if I can find the peanuts. Can I use the roasted peanuts in the jar? Thanks so much for sharing your recipe. :O) Oh, I don't think I'll be able to find the super fine sugar in my area. Will just regular sugar be ok?
Wow, gotta try it.
Tammy, this looks so delish but are you playing devil’s advocate? You look well with your weight loss. But all I can hear in the back of my head is “Be an angel. You have got to lose those pandemic pounds and most importantly, get your A1C down”. The devil has to go faster than these PP’s.😂🤣😇
I used to make it for Christmas gifts for my neighbors, and they loved it!
I agree with you, I’d choose the brittle every time! 😋
OMG Tammy, thanks for this recipe. I used to make it all the time in my microwave in the 70's and lost the recipe. This is the same one for the microwave and it sure does turn out fantastic!! Best peanut brittle I ever had. Melaney from SoCal
Wasn't that a whole stick of butter??
Going to make this soon.🙏
I love making peanut brittle!
You put in a full stick of butter does it change the taste much?
Looks great! What size pan is that? 13×9”? Also, what wattage is your microwave? I just tried it and it burned.😢 My microwave is 1200 watts.
Oh my goodness!!! I love love peanut brittle!♥️♥️♥️ I will definitely be using the link. They are so hard to find.
yummy
This looks delish I’ve always wanted to make this thank you!
This is a great recipe, I made this before and it is wonderful.
Hi Tammy! My mother and one of my aunts made this microwave peanut brittle using this recipe or one very similar. It was always so good! I remember making this for Christmas "goodie boxes" for the UPS and FedEx delivery drivers that were so busy during the holidays. We would make an extra batch (or two or three!) to nibble on while making the other cakes, cookies and candy for the "goodie boxes" for those guys and gals.
They never failed to mention how good the peanut brittle was! This recipe brings back warm memories! Thanks for another video, y'all! ! 😊
What is the wattage of your microwave? It will make a difference in the cooking time. I really do want to try this peanut brittle. Thanks for all the wonderful recipes you give us!
You guys have fun on your trip to Boston! No rush on this question. Would you have to parch cashews if using them? I was going to use salted cashew pieces.
Hands down for me would be divinity…love it! ❤️
I love this simple recipe! Thank you Tammy! It looks delicious! Definitely making for Christmas.
