water glass your eggs too!
Have you ever water gassed eggs? I've seen a couple people do them and also freeze them. Freeze dried is great, they say, but no dehydrated sadly.
I need eggs! Maybe I can buy some from you 🤗
Your so inspiring
I would make tons of egg white bread with the whites and eat just yolks!
Burnt Basque Cheesecake, (see Food Wishes recipe) can easily be adapted to keto and can also be made lighter using some Greek yogurt instead of only cream cheese. A delicious taste sensation and party pleaser!
I wish we were closer. The hens we get eggs from stopped laying. 😭 now I have to get grocery store eggs unless Ican find someone else with hens still laying!!
A German pancake uses a lot of eggs.
It sounds like it may be time for an egg fast! 😁
If you get to sell your eggs at your house, maybe you can save up for a freeze dryer, make your own egg white powder and dried yolk powder!!🐔
Years ago, I would make a Potatoes & Egg Omlette for a family weeknight dinner.. My youngest son called it 'Potato Pizza' because he lightly spread ketchup on top of it. It includes chopped onion & one medium potato per person, diced. (Alternatively, you can use a bag of homefries sold at the supermarket.) I usually used two eggs per person. I started cooking the potatoes first to soften, removed them & then cooked the onion until soft. Once onions were softened, I put potatoes back in pan continuing to cook until lightly browned. Adding a clove of minced garlic & cooking until fragrant prior to adding the whisked eggs to the pan. I cooked the egg mixture until it set 2/3 of the way up. I then put it under the broiler until the top was cooked & LIGHTLY browned. Leftovers can be reheated & made into sandwiches.
I wish I lived near to you, I would be buying 2 or 3 dozen eggs a week from you – no stall needed! haha
Are there any shelters or food banks nearby that might take some eggs? That's a lot of eggs! I laughed at the daily egg rations😄
I love shredded chicken tacos with leftover chicken. I add salsa to mine…💋🧚🏻♀️❤️🇺🇸
I like to make French Baked Eggs. I got the idea from Paula on Low Carb Revelation. Very easy to make. I also eat a lot of deviled eggs. Yesterday I made Cobb Salad Deviled Eggs. I got the recipe from David Venerable on QVC. I just didn’t add the blue cheese.
Ever try waterglassing your fresh eggs? "Ozark family homestead" has a recipe on how to pickle fresh uncooked eggs in bucket that last over a year 😮
Scotch eggs (meat wrapped hard boiled eggs). You are supposed to be able to preserve unwashed raw eggs in lime water. Since you have eggs coming out your ears, might be worth trying.
Your chickens are adorable. Re: too many eggs…there's a technique called glassing I believe where you can store raw eggs under water.
Make stufflers or chaffles. They freeze well.
What a great way to get rid of food garbage, feed the chickens! I put veggie scraps in the freezer with the bones and then make broth. I don’t have chickens!
