Beryl, here's an idea for a topping video, how about… ICE CREAM!!! And bonus idea, try vanilla ice cream with chilli crisp as a topping. J Kinji Lopez Alt wrote about this idea and I would love to get your take on it!

Never thought to try pol sambol (Sri Lankan coconut chutney)with noodles but that’s a great idea! Pol sambol also tastes great with bread and butter 😊 and it’s pretty easy to make it with dessicated coconut if you don’t live in SL.

Yup as a American who is of Mexican, Native American and Colombian decent I can not deny the fact when I eat instant noodles I put cilantro,a little bit of lettuce or cabbage depending what's in my fridge, hot sauce, fresh squeezed lime juice and chopped up jalapeño's or else I throw in green chilli's but that is what my taste buds love😋🌶😍

I am Indian but I put Pol sambol, some oregano, chili flakes and caramelized onions on noodles. So good to see someone else putting Pol sambol in noodles in Beryls channel. I had once stumbled upon Pol sambol in Mark Wiens channel and since then I put it on everything, particularly when there's nothing at home and I am lazy. Breakfast, lunch, evening snack, work meal, dinner all day 🤣I am just addicted to it now.

Aww I could have done this. What I put on my ramen, and I only eat Shin ramyun are green onions, and cheese, not just any cheese, but American cheese. It's a game changer trust me. Also, I add a scrambled egg right before the noodles are done cooking to make it like a egg drop soup ramen. It's a bonus if I have some rice because I can eat the soup with the rice and it's a very filling meal.

Hey Beryl, I'm another viewer from India, if you ever do a part 2, then you should mix salted peanuts, Schezwan sauce and sour cream and onion lays mixed with Maggie made the regular way

Bovril and vegemite are very different creatures. Bovril is just a stock concentrate (bouillon, etc), so you can probably find a local substitute or just buy it off Amazon.

Since you end up with a plethora of varied ingredients, I feel like it might be fun to do a sort of personal Chopped challenge!! Like you pick 3 ingredients from a hat and have to make a cohesive dish with it.

Beryl, I would be most certain you would have had “pani puri shells” before, but you may not have recognized them: they pop a hole on one side of shell then gently stuff with your choice: typically several chickpeas, curd/yogurt, chat masala, squirt of tamarind and then dumped into a vat of savory boullion/broth. the shell holds the works and liquid like oversize spoon. the hawker will have a mountain of pre poppedshells the at and all the fillings spread out. uou buy a say dozen and eat them one right after the other as they are handed to you.

Another great videooooo! I was wondering if it was at all possible for you to make these dishes to sell to us local folk who always crave what you have in every video? I'd definitely go buy wherever you are 😊

Can you do an episode of vegetable-forward dishes? I like to try and pack as many veggies into my meals as possible and have at least five a day, but so many dishes are carb heavy, it's hard to find inspiration that goes beyond salad and soup

I'm so glad you discovered pol sambol. My partner is Sri Lankan and he has it with everything: in a cheese toastie, on crumpets, and with curries of course. It's so delicious when it's freshly made too!

Hey Beryl! I love your videos! How about at the end of one of these videos you build your own variation from the previous ingredients? I would really love to see that!
