Another great tip when frying chicken it's best to season your chicken after you wash it put it back in the refrigerator the morning you are making chicken that way your chicken has time to soak up those seasonings before you coated in flour and deep fry it.

I use about 1 cup Frank's (or similar) hot sauce in my wet mix. The heat cooks out of it, so if you have a weak mouth, you'll still be OK. I've never needed to brine, but maybe I'll try it. Brining is not necessary, though.

Where I'm from, you don't need a brine to make tasty fried chicken. It's how you cook it.

Kentucky fried chicken can be done in many ways as there is no right or wrong way to cook fried chicken. I come from a carribean family so don't need to be told how to cook anything especially fried chicken๐Ÿ˜‚ All the oils that was suggested in the video cannot be used especially Peanut oil cannot be used for some people due to allergic reactions. I want my chicken to be enjoyed not kill them.

The first step to make Kentucky Fried Chicken is soak the chicken in water. Drip dry it, no paper towels, then immediately move to flour. They also have very specific steps how to move chicken in flour so it coats the chicken evenly. The coating is never even without having wet chicken put in the flour. The advise to pat dry is just plain wrong.
