Always a concern seeing so much use of pre-prepared grated cheese, with the added preservative and other items added to keep cheese separated. So quick and easy to grate block cheese .

When I make scrambled eggs I crack them into a bowl and poor a little milk into it and them beat until you can’t see any whites but not over beat them either. Then put them in the lower temp pan and cook them the same way you do. However my kids love them with cheese stirred into them as well.

If you want good mac 'n cheese, never ever use that box with powdered cheese! Grate some cheese and use milk, or even better, make a custard with evaporated milk and an egg, add cooked macaroni, a little butter & freshly grated cheese and bake it!

You can make scrambled eggs at a little higher temperature, but you need to whisk them before adding to the pan and use the silicone spatula to stir quickly. Never leave them and get them out of the pan as soon as they are cooked to your liking. And they will taste a lot better if you put a little butter in the pan first! You lost so much of your "right" eggs which stuck to the pan!

Quesadillas and mac and cheese? Two unhealthy foods that I would at least make a little better by adding some veggies. That orange powder in the mac and cheese does not remotely qualify as cheese in my mind. Why not make it in the instant pot with real cheese? Doesn't take much longer, and yes, I'd add some broccoli for at least a minimum of nutrition. For scrambled eggs, I scramble the eggs in a cup and add a little cream and, yes, salt and pepper, before putting them in the pan.

I mix my mix my eggs up in a bowl with about a tablespoon of water before I put them in the pan. And sometimes I add green chili and sour cream and other vegetables too.

Hi Lisa! I love your videos and your a great person. But I worry about your and your families health with ALL that Salt! Everyone should only consume 2,300 mg per day or One Teaspoon. No shade and this is not a negative or trying to shame you, I care about you enough to say something. Love the cheese crusted quesadilla idea! Thank you, take care, stay safe and well. 💕

So much sodium in the cheese I’d think that would be really salty adding salt. And if you want to make scrambled eggs correctly you need to add fat to the pan like butter cook on low and always scramble your eggs in a container before adding to the pan, those eggs in both pans were atrocious.

Well you did for those going off to college… I'm a grandmother and I routinely make eggs at least 3 to 4 times a week for 4 people, about 9 or 10 eggs. I always scramble the eggs before, cook at med heat, use silicone spat, and stand over until done, using non stick pan. I even microwaved eggs that come out SUPER fluffy! I don't salt because we wrap in tortillas and sometimes use grated cheese. Or we put salsa on them plain or wrapped. Then if I'm snazzy, ill chop up bacon or sausage and wrap.

Yes, always pepper salad. Salt occasionally, but not often unless using EVO.

Quesadillas, never salt because of the salt content in the cheese.

Oatmeal, to each their own. More spices and butter the better.

Wow, these comments on here are SUPER snarky.
My son likes his eggs cooked just like she did, he likes the yellow and whites to be showing. I think everyone cooks things to their liking.
My way, my son’s way, hers or yours are not the only or right way to cook things.
I certainly didn’t feel she was, I think I read assaulting the eggs but that’s my opinion and you have yours.
Thank you for your info in this video, I do enjoy you content.

I mix eggs & a small amount of sour cream together in a bowl before pouring them in a skillet. Sour cream makes the eggs very fluffy & we do soft scramble our eggs. Delicious!

I might actually eat oatmeal now!

As far as the eggs, I actually do like mine more cooked, not necessarily brown but I definitely do not want any part of my scrambled eggs to be runny. It’s a texture thing for me. Honestly I don’t know how people can eat over easy eggs…you may as well just eat snot but to each their own 😊

Quesadillas look yummy! However, adding salt when the cheese has a lot of salt and the flour tortilla has plenty of salt too…..not to mention the salty cheese. Maybe try to healthy it up. Add salt to Kraft Mac and cheese? It's already got too much sodium. OK if you can eat large amounts of sodium but not a good idea to encourage people to add salt when its unnecessary and unhealthy amounts.
