It’s so cool how in Tagalog it’s ‘chicharon’ and in Spanish it’s ‘Chicharrón’. You can really see the Spanish Influence there. What a unique country and a unique blend of cultures 🇵🇭🙌🏻🙌🏻
Also known as butcheron.
There's a saying "You eat too much of this and you'll stay young forever." And I think it's beautiful.
In Danmark we also have deep fred prok skin
Now i'm craving for chicharon bulaklak at 5am…lol
That's looks so tasty ! I am Dominican and we also called deep fried pork skin , or pork grinds chicharrón
It's boodle fight and not kamayan feast. This is my first time hearing it as kamayan feast.

Nakakain ko na yan ang sarap
Where I come from we call it torresmo or pururuca. My family calls it pururuca, but pururuca is actually the method of making fat meat into crunchy tasty pieces of heaven. It goes great with feijoada (black beans, various types of pig meat and some spices)
i could eat chicharon bulaklak for days!🤤
So potkrines 🤨
I dont think Bulaklak ng baboy directly translates to Flower chicharon. More like, Deep fried ruffled fat.
Down south we call them skins or cracklings
Maaaan, I miss it!

MY FAVORITE SNACK😤🙏and if you dipped it with vinegar!? OMG 😤👌🏼

LOVE CHICHARON BULAKLAK
AYOOOOO in South India we traditionally eat all meals on banana leaves and it is a MUST to use our right hand only
Is it bad that I would have tried it if I didn't know what it was?
Like just like with tripitas and barbacoa. I would have enjoyed them until someone explained to me what they are
Every bite of that chicharon bulaklak brings you closer to God.
Sarap pucha
I thought they were only pig ears. But I've never been a fan of it tbh
One of those sounds like pork rinds which is fried pork skin it’s crispy, fluffy and delicious it’s very popular in Thomasville NC or Lexington NC both in America
I stopped eating pork and fatty food for over a year now. Chicharon and chicharon bulaklak were my favorite. Every fiesta, when we make lechon, my grandma used to make chicharon bulaklak too and we’d eat it as snack while we prep other food for the occasion. I miss it so much. That crunchy, salty, fatty deliciousness..ugh, now im tempted to eat it but no.
In Louisiana we Cajuns call those cracklins! Just like on the bag in the video :3 (I think they’re the same, or at least similar – fried pork skins, but I’m sure we use different seasonings) I’m not a huge fan of the ones my family gets when we go back to visit but my parents love them!
well kamayan doesn't necessarily have to be on banana leaves…it just makes the flavor of food better, i guess…and for esthetics, too.
I like it when someone acts like white people dont know how to eat with their hands….. give me a break and pass me the bbq
Omg we Indians also eat with ours hands and also south indians use banana leaf
sarap nyan sobra!!! it's one of my favorites too😋 delish.
I really don't understand what it is so I would try
Is Chicharrón, with double r.
GOD I LOVE CHICHARON BULAKLAK
theres a restaurant near my grandma's home we buy from everytime we go there, and they serve really good chicharon. when i first tried this i didnt know what it was and my parents and relatives didnt tell me either. it took me years to search it up, and when i first found out i was initially grossed out, but it was delicious so i couldnt resist hehe
Budol fight!!!
