My Goodwill is nothing like that! They mostly have clothes and some household stuff. Unfortunately I found out that they throw more that half of the donations out. It's a shame really, they have bad management, they have one cashier last time I went and they hire people that can't get a job anywhere else. Did you go back and by stuff before driving out of Texas? I would have filled the vehicle by the time I got home! lol
If your at goodwill and see stuff you like you could always grab an extra bag(small suitcase) there also and take it home as luggage…😁

I've been following you since the little white farm house. It's so weird to see you driving less than 2 minutes from my house, on roads I drive on and know the names of well!!! The Goodwills here in our corner of northwestern VA are so disappointing compared to this one! The powers that be should fly to Dallas and take notes and come back here and make changes! lol

I live in West Texas. You made me giggle because you get excited with Goodwill shoppin' on vacay; I do to when I go to Colorado Springs, Colorado; they have the best Goodwills.. Love it!!
Wow there were some pretty nice Goodwill store's there! I'm not a huge fan of 5 below in my town. Twice now I purchased speakers for my I pad and iPhone, nope,not happy.. one I can't pair, two…like really.!! Lol Anywho, glad you were able to get a couple of good finds! Have a great day xo
I am so laughing with you! Used to drive to So Cali 2 X a yr ( of course visiting sister) so I could thrift shop and also go into L A garment district for last yrs season clothing! Spring for winter and Winter for summer. Had a big trunk back then. You made this So TX person happy showing off my state. just wish you could have taken the heat back with you. What a hot summer we have had.

I always just ship my purchases home.. they are usually sitting on my porch when I get home. Makes life so simple. Don't have to worry about baggage weight or the searching through stuff.
